I been to a nursing home because I was recouping from cancer. Stayed there for two months and it’s was sooooo boring. I had no family near by to take me out. I thank God they had a computer that I could use to pass the time. I remembered throwing up at night and the nurses aid didn’t come to clean it up for a long time. Heard one Patient was ignored, he said that he needed someone to change his dressings on his wounded leg.
What a great story!! I use to work in long term care as a nurse. And I was greatly enthused by the way the Mrs. C. handled herself and the residents. And yes, one DOES need to hold one accountable!!
Great movie! I'm 71 and lost my mother a few years ago as I sat by and watched my sister assist my mother in her death. Of course, there's always money involved no matter how little or how much! I certainly laughed at the irony in this story!
What a delicious feel good movie Pauline Collins is such a goergeous actress, I'll never forget the first movie I saw her in "Shirley Valentine" another feel good (great) movie ❤
Oh for crying out loud. I am on my own. I do not own a dishwasher. In fact, I am the dishwasher. It would take me an entire week to justify filling the dishwasher as I do not accumulate enough dishes to do so. Scrape the leftovers into the compost bin. Rinse them. Pile them. Wash them and set them up in the dish rack in the second sink (which I have) in order for them to air dry. Done. Not the most onerous task $during the week.
What a tragedy. Her children put her in a rest home so they can have the property. There is nothing humorous about aging and being exploited by your family and treated badly in a nursing home. 😢
I am a semi retired nurse , use to work in nursing homes and this movie doesn't even come close to the nefarious activity that occurs to the elderly. The ones that have the best advantage are ones with family.
Sadly this is a reality. When one comes to a certain age some children cannot wait for you to kick the bucket to get their hands on your property and your savings Those few whose children are truly caring are really blessed
Well, who would? Abused & bullied and her husband, then her son and his wife, then the old age home director and matron. And no one could see that she was so unhappy.......
This is complete feminist nonsense. If that is what THIS woman put up with then that was her decision. I never saw anything even slightly like this during my whole life. My father was a lovely man, most men get up had breakfast and went to work every day - there was no women as a slave and servant drama going on - I am so sick of this anti-marriage, anti-family, anti-men propaganda. You activist people have cause great harm to normal lives and many of us know you are full of bs. Young people are fools to believe your exaggerated nonsense and lies. Look around you at the miserable and vicious women running things. Do you want to end up mean and hateful and envious as they are when they find themselves with years of bitterness and loneliness ahead of them after rooting around for ten or fifteen years? No one respects you for that. Pathetic.
All praises to Pauline Collins. . she never disappoints ❤🧡💛💚💙💜💯
I really enjoyed this , I’m so happy that I found this gem, and thank you for putting it up .
Thank you for sharing. Delightful Sunday afternoon watching. Thanks
Very well done. Thanks
0:40 nice bit of subtle humor, lol
The husband needed to belted across the ears to wake the sodding fool up.
It was wonderful but what a nightmare
Wonderful! An beautifully executed expose of just how many homes are "managed"! Well done!!!!!

Did not expect to see Tony Robinson

Delightful!
Love the show, BUT the auto germinated closet captains are hill odorous 😁
"...😄.Yes, well it's a mans job, isn't it?"
Thanks so much for posting this. Reminds me of one of the lifetimes in Cloud Atlas.

Fabulous! Pauline Collins, John Alderton and 😂😂😂😂 Sir Tony Robinson. Thank you for this, loved every minute of it.
John Alderto , her husband.
Thank you for uploading Mrs. Caldicot! Pauline Collins is always fabulous! So proud to be part Brit! 🎉
Her colonial half...she means.

Excellent story. Thanks for posting!
Shirley Valentine got out faster, and her man was able to change too...Pauline Collins, great as ever.
What a wonderful lovely movie! Is that Sir Tony playing the bit of the talk show host? Tells me how old this work is.
That was excellent. Thitiughly gripping yet entertaining. Thank you for making it available.
Unfortunately, is a reality, in the elderly people's homes. Sad
This is still common, even if the woman works outside the home, has an education, etc. It's old programming and still needs to be changed.
Nurses like that matron need to be sterilized and forced to live in a labor camp.

Amen. Unless company I pretty much just use the ones in the dish drain drying from used before.
Truly enjoyed this show😊
What a fabulous find! Loved every minute.

Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you for the upload. Never underestimate a wrinkly !🤣

Great film! Thanks
My son is a nurse. He says I will always have a home with him in FL. And he promises he won’t keep my ashes in the garage. I raised him right!!! Lol
I so love this movie.
First two episodes had closed captions. It helps us hearing impaired people enjoy a good show too.
Quite enjoyable. Thanks for your work from the USA!
Loved it!!
❤ Absolutely fabulous, thank you xx
Wonderful entertainment. So very bright and well enjoyed. Thank you.

God's waiting rooms not for this girl.
I'm so blessed to be happily single and able to take care of myself and my cat! 😅 I wouldn't want to be her. But I enjoyed watching this! 😀

Me too, I'm single just me & my little dog. So I'll give this movie a try but would have liked to know what it was about ahead of time.

Wow, so great. Everyone was so good and the story line was so in tune with life. Thank you.
