This is dolby 5.1, on my smart TV, UA-cam app/options, it shows the "5.1" ticked, stats for nerds, audio codec is "ac-3" I have the latest pioneer home theatre which can detect DTS. So keep in mind those mixing in dts can create 7.1 encoded. I have listened to UA-cam dts and all the sounds are in the right places in the 7.1 speakers. When titles state "atmos" it means 5.1.2, 7.1, 7.1.2, 9.1 etc. Dolby pro logic I, II, dolby digital plus 5.1 definitely work on UA-cam. Dolby pro logic is embedded in the stereo track, so it does not show up as dolby 5.1, and likely so because it does not include a dedicated sub as does 5.1. Still learning, but having a 2024 home theatre, definitely helps to determine if it is correct. Channel choice matters, exported file maters determining the track order. For example I just listened to a song that is in 5.1, but the vocals was in te right speaker. So the order that it was exported would have been Left, Centre, Right, surrounded right, surrounded left, LFE. Whereas the order in my speakers are Left, Right, Centre, LFE, SL, Sr. So the centre vocal ends up on my right speaker. Would be helpful if there was a simple solution to exporting 5.1 Like a shortcut export button "for UA-cam" so that the track order is correct. And "for film" or "for post"

How can this be an Atmos test if Atmos doesn’t work on UA-cam?
I think 5.1 and possibly more is possible with the roku or Android tv UA-cam app. 5.1 doesn't work on my PC with UA-cam in a browser but does when I cast it from my phone to my Roku TV.
@@MrWolfTickets my TV is Atmos capable, so it puts out whatever UA-cam gives it. But I don’t think UA-cam offers anything over 5.1, which is why I don’t get the point of this video.

During my Hi Fi times in the 80s Dolby are the sign I look for
UA-cam only supports Stereo. 5.1 in some cases. Why do you guys keep uploading those?
Lol it supports 5.1 Dolby audio in your smart tv go to settings it shows 5.1 audio
@@govindxavier6303 5.1 Maximum, it doesn't support Atmos, which needs at least 5.1.2 speaker configuration, and compatible receiver to be played in the first place. Anyway, you cannot play this video with a correct sound track either in DD+, or Dolby TrueHD to play Atmos on UA-cam. It can only be played if downloaded from Dolby website or else in mp4 or mkv.
