Some people would love performance, some would want more comfort, etc. If you'd ask me, for me it's always comfort and a decent performance, as I do a lot of touring. I agree that in this current year, there are many other options, but comfort and quality wise I don't think they match this bike (except the Triumph, as I have not tested the bike). I was supposed to buy the RE Himalayan, but all my friends suggested not to take it, as they already have RE's and everyone is facing lots of issues after 2-3 years. Conclusion: If a person wants a high performance bike, then KTM's are the one. If they need a good touring bike with decent performance in this price range and spec (suitable for Indian roads) then, they could get the BMW. Apart from this, even service cost and parts cost matters a lot.

@@sandipbaral192 that's great bro. Every bike comes with pros and cons. I was also in this situation and finally got this. No regrets now, I'm happy. If you want a bike for touring, comfort and good quality, then you can opt for the BMW. But, it depends on many other factors too, like budget, service cost, etc. Compared to the other 2 brands, the cost over here is a bit high when it comes to service and parts. But the quality is really top notch. For service, I pay 7-8k every 10,000 kms. And I pay an optional 9k every year for RSA, as you cannot give these bikes in normal mechanic shops while on a trip. RSA includes towing, 3 days stay and transport fee to your hometown.

@@saravanasara3073 Hi bro, the helmet is really awesome, it's very very comfortable and snug fits your head. Along with the helmet, I even mount a GoPro, but still I feel it's soo lite. Speaking about the padding, it's a blue padding inside which is both good and bad. The quality of the padding and foam is very good, but since it's blue in colour, it gets dirty soon. You need to clean it often. About the wind noise, it's not too much. But once I cross 90-100kmph, I hear it in a considerable amount. I would recommend you to use 3M earplugs while riding to secure your hearing (This applies to all the helmets). The helmet did not fade, it's been 1 year, but still there is gloss and I also clean the helmet once in 3 months and apply wax or polish on it. Conclusion: It's the best helmet you can get in the price range with safety ratings and even double-D rings.

Hi, that's a great question. As per my knowledge, a person with 5.6ft height can tip-toe both the legs. The seat height of BMW G310 GS is 835mm which comes as stock. But, fortunately you also have a lower sear bench option in the accessories list which might cost you around 3,500 INR. Hope this helps!

Hi, while going up to Ooty through the Kalhatty ghat road, everyone are allowed. But while coming back down, only TN43 registered licences are allowed. Yes, I do have a TN43 Licence.

Hi, that's a great question. As per my knowledge, we do have heated grips for the BMW G310 GS but, I'm not sure of the price. Even the accessories file which was sent to me while purchasing the bike, did not showcase the heated grips. I could see other countries selling them for around 24,000 INR. Mayb I'll contact someone from BMW Motorrad and get back to you on this.

2024 Summer is at the peak. It's damn hot everywhere and the jacket & pant getting wet a bit is normal. As @bhupender.04 said, a good quality of inner layers will do the work. My lower base layer is of Rynox and the upper base layer is a jersey kinda material which I got from the Wroom store. It's damn good and it is a dry fit material too. You can try them. Ride safe and keep yourself hydrated always while riding. Kudos!😊

Hi! The cornering is a bit tricky as it's a huge bike. It actually takes more time to get used to this bike and confidently take the corners. But, once you have a hold of it, it's just like licking the butter on the bread. I have not noticed any con in this matter. The center of gravity is done so beautifully in this bike so that you don't feel the weight.

Hi, thank you so much. It depends on the purpose you wanna buy. If you wanna get a bike for long touring, then I would suggest the BMW G310Gs cos of its comfort. If you are interested in a high speed bike in this segment, then I would recommend the Ktm adventure. The BMW G310 GS has enough power for Indian roads and has a good low end torque which helps a lot while offroading or in City traffic. And also, depends on how much you wanna spend on maintenance.
