The pump in mine, the one in the video, blew out a few years ago. I ordered a replacement from Gardyn but trying to connect it under the lid, I broke the fragile connector thing. So I had to order a brand new top, which is what's in the video. I assume it's version 4.0, but not quite sure. I did try a cheap pump I had that was powerful enough to pump the 4+ vertical feet or whatever, which worked OK, but getting the tubing to seat properly on the pump was always a struggle so I gave up. Also, using an aftermarket pump that isn't wired to the app, you'll lose programmability, which was another pain in the ass for me.

Thanks for the tip. I mean, I've just been pouring gallons of water in the ollas and hoping for the best. More is better, right? That's what my grandma used to say, referring my grandpas "underwear squirrel." I never figured out what that meant. That is correct. They are sentenced to a life in a bag without parole. Depends on the variety on how large they will get, but this variety will be about medium size (6 to 8 inches or so). I could probably start more, but I've never grown this particular variety before, so I want to see how they will grow first before scaling. Thanks for the question!
