Greetings! It is Tristen Chen. I’m a 15-year-old completely blind pianist. Here you’ll see videos of my life highlights. For example, you’ll see my latest performances, compositions, etc. You will also see some miscellaneous, travel highlights; I am one of those people who really like to travel, so there will be lots of travel videos on this channel. In terms of travel, I really enjoy Asian supermarkets, amusement parks, public transit, etc. Be sure to subscribe for lots of fun life updates! Stay tuned! There will be lots of fun stuff coming out soon. Please know that you have my permission to use all of my content in your content. Thank you very much.
R.I.P. TRISTEN CHEN’S KEY FOB COLLECTION (NARRATED).
This is a narrated version of the previous video. This is just for extra detail, and if there were any details or video segments you weren’t capable of comprehending, here is a
more detailed version for you all. After 11 years of collecting key fobs, Tristen Chen decided to retire his key fob collection due to hate and demoralization from people not on UA-cam but elsewhere. The date that you are watching the video premiere is Tristen Chen‘s 16th birthday. Hope he get something good for his birthday.
Since he was just four years old, Tristen Chen was so fascinated with the touch and satisfying feels of key fobs, particularly those of Toyotas. He particularly enjoys the ignition switch, start up system rather than the push button start. It is relatable because with the ignition switch, there is more action in it than a simple push button. With the ignition switch, there are three positions for the key, ranging from the accessories to the on. And then, of course, the car starts up. Car keys have felt satisfying, specifically, Toyota keys have a unique blade, the blade being the part that is inserted into the ignition. The logo also feels pretty cool on the key itself. However, due to external hate, Tristen has decided he would stop collecting keys altogether, that is, buying them off of eBay. He is still open to receiving car keys from personnel who do not need them, for example, because their car had retired, not been sold, or had a whole lost due to a car accident.

Tristen has sold all his key fobs in the set that we’re going to be retired. The remaining key fobs he has are the ones that were donated to him by patrons.

Dude I remember you from the San Francisco competition, Im also 15 years old but I got 3rd place lol. You 100% deserved to win that thing btw I cannot believe you are actually able to play Liszt and la Campanella so easy it's unfathomable. Your better than me while being blind

@bozartspianoarchive3546 Ah isn't that the concert étude? Wow, that Paganini étude. I am picking up La Leggierezza for other competitions and also La Campanella. Liszt can be quite a buster. I hope all goes well! Hope I can also see you in another competition!
Omg I love it
@@School-Theory LOL thanks. And congratulations on the third prize! :) Nah I am sure you can play Campanella no problem. It's not as bad as people say. It is quite enjoyable. BTW do you have a favorite Christmas song? This is my favorite.

Yes, I bought them from the store and then brought some of the packages from in that big box to School.
Did you buy hello pandas??
@@GaugeMeraz-e4o actually yes. We did.
How do you sign up to join??
@@GaugeMeraz-e4o the sign up process is quite intense and it requires auditioning. You have to play music for them or something. And then they have to put you in an appropriate music theory level class. So it’s a lot of assessments and auditions. but I am 100% sure you will get in. because you are a wonderful musician. I love otis elevators. I saw you got off one just as you were going to one of your classes.
@@gianni1940 I did not know that. I’m so glad you enjoyed the elevators. do you know the exact name?
@@TristenChenLife they're some sort of Otis traction, I can't tell if they are GEN two traction, if they are known to vibrate a little bit while moving, then they're considered Hydrofit I believe, but if it doesn't vibrate at all and feels very quiet, then they are.
@@gianni1940 They don’t vibrate, all I hear is this sound that kind of sounds like some sort of lifting or lowering mechanism like a chain or something. And of course, I hear the beeping. And most definitely the text to speech voices. but thanks for pointing that out, now I know what kind of elevator it is.
replace the @VectorRoblox with youtube.com/@VectorRoblox and you should be fine
OK, I think it is replaced now. Thank you.
Wait Tristen…why do you use Bay Bridge instead of US 101? If you use US 101, you don’t have to pay toll so use that from now on
@@VectorRoblox excellent question! We usually use US 101 but I guess for trafficking reasons we used I 880. So that we can get there on time.
@@VectorRoblox or you could just take BART
🥱😐😑😑😑😑😑
Yeah, stressed out people who have cars with switchblade keys can use those as a little fidget. And if you don’t have a car with the switchblade key, you could just buy one off Amazon or eBay and use that as your little fidget. Or if you are Very tech savvy, you can even try to program a switchblade key into your car.
I never knew that about these airhorns. I think that we as visually impaired individuals, both C something from a different view, compared to how all other passengers would see it, but it really is good to see what details are actually set in stone with these different horns. Does Caltrain have some thing similar with its diesel locomotives or its EMU sets?
But yeah, for some people it could be startling but for us it’s quite funny eh? Now, what do you think of the airhorn? @@gianni1940 I did not know you were visually impaired. by the way, for some reason, my comments just moved my cursor to the top.
@@TristenChenLife yeah I don't know why it probably did that to you. I don't think I have heard the airhorn while I've been in the area. I'm not from San Francisco, I'm in Southern California, so it would be interesting to capture and learn a little bit about the LA metro from my perspective, even though I've only been on it once. I've taken Metrolink a couple of times and it's different compared to Caltrain, but I think it would be something to look at.
@@gianni1940 Yeah I hope I get to ride the LA Metro's B and D lines before the old Breda A650s are gone. They have two horns too: A low horn known as the "Whistle" and the high horn known simply as the high horn. The high horn is your equivalent to the BART air horn.
@@TristenChenLife the reason I like those trains is because the motor on them sounds similar to the fleet of the future. I don't see them getting rid of those trains, but if they are going to do anything with those trains, it would be very unlikely that we would see, a train that has a similar motor to the Bart Legacy fleet.
@@gianni1940 That would be cool. The whistle horn kind of sounds like the Legacy Fleet Air Horn but the Legacy air horn is louder and more violent. The LA Metro's high horn reminds me of both air horns because it's violently loud.
Bro I thought you won’t come back for BART until you’re 50 or something
@@VectorRoblox First of all, this is just a demonstration vid. Second, I did think of that. life has been miserable and I might need to take it to SFCM so I am still going back, maybe. I got air horned recently though. :)
@@TristenChenLife good idea, have some fun in your life
@@VectorRoblox Yeah you can't just work and no break, that's slavery, basically.
can you give any tips for navigating a lot of these areas you've been in? I am familiar with a lot of this area, but I've not actually explored it myself, and as someone who has been in the Bay Area a few times, I would love to explore more. Also, my advice for next time is, keep, the phone in portrait mode and not flat. For some reason when the device is flat, it makes the audio sound quieter, and when you tapped on your screen, a couple of times, it made the sound of the voiceover screen reader, more prominent than the sound of the motor on the street car.
Yes, thank you very much for your comments. :) If you are navigating on systems around the bay like BART, Caltrain, VTA, and other systems, you should purchase a Clipper Card or get the Clipper app so you can scan your ticket, and do not need to purchase tickets all the time. If you ride BART, just so you know, there may be crazy things going on around there, so always be aware of your surroundings. Be careful while riding, especially in Oakland and San Francisco. But it's OK, everything will be just fine. Same thing for SF Muni. The cable cars, street cars, and anything like that in SF should be fine. Caltrain is quite the quiet system, the trains are nice, the environment is also pretty chill, but you still want to keep an eye out. VTA is like the mid level system, not super nuts, but sometimes things can happen, but they are quite unlikely, Santa Clara County is quite the safe place. BART operates primarily in the East Bay, taking riders to Berryessa in San Jose, Dublin, Pleasanton, the Oakland (OAK) Airport, Antioch, Richmond, and Millbrae, running in part of Santa Clara County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and a part of San Mateo County. In terms of accessibility, BART and VTA (Light Rail) are the most accessible. They have cane guides to guide you where you need to go, their trains ACTUALLY meet with the platform so wheelchair users can easily roll on, and enjoy themselves. In terms of accessibility, Caltrain is UNACCEPTABLE. Too many stairs! There are no ramps or anything. When boarding the train, you must take a HUGE step to get on. No cane guides either. ABSOLUTELN UNACCEPTABLE!
@@TristenChenLife i've been on BART, but I've never been on VTA or Caltrain. I heard Caltrain is working on the platform edges to make them more accessible to wheelchair users with the new EMU train sets.
@@gianni1940 Well it's still a huge step to get on the train. The old trains had 4 steps, but now they have modified it to just one. But it's still very high off, so I think it would be a bit better if they made it so the train and platform are at the same height.
@@TristenChenLife they are saying they're going to be doing that with the new California high-speed rail. What is VTA like?
@@gianni1940 VTA Light Rail only takes you there a portion of Santa Clara County (Campbell, San Jose, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Mountain View) but the trains are double decked (I think.) It's not really double decking, there is just a section that allows you to climb up steps to sit down at a slightly higher level. The trains are relatively quiet, and it's quite chill. It is nice. Seats are quite small though. You should ride it some day.
Today Tristen I got stuck in traffic and parked on highway 92 on the San Mateo bridge. I parked for 30 min lol I also went on SFO AirTrain
@@VectorRoblox oh my goodness! That does not sound too good. How was the air train? Did you intend to fly somewhere or were you flying from somewhere to SFO? or were you just riding for fun?
@@TristenChenLife we went to SFO just to drop off my grandma
@VectorRoblox Nice! :) You can take BART to SFO if you did not know.
@@TristenChenLife yea ik Problem is, it’s not directly connected to San Jose
@@VectorRoblox Oh yeah that can be an annoyance :) But you could take the Green line from Berryessa to Balboa Park then the Yellow to SFO or Orange from Berryessa to 12th St and then Yellow to SFO.
