    you dont have to set your bow up for a thumb release vs a wrist strap release, a knock point is a knock point

      @Allwayssalty the knock point doesn't change but your peep sight alightment will be different along with your anchor points between the two different release styles.

    Nicely done!! I switched to a thumb button release about 4 years ago and I would never go back. There’s so many advantages to shooting a thumb button release! Everything I’ve ever harvested has been with that release

    • @rusticvixen
      @rusticvixen 13 днів тому

      @ShaynaGilbert-ln9xg I don't hunt out if a tree stands. I spot and stalk hunt in a high elevation mountain terrain. I practice how I hunt. Elk & mule deer, you need to a quiver. You can't hike around the mountains with your arrows on your hip

    • @BoworBustOutdoors
      @BoworBustOutdoors 13 днів тому

      @@rusticvixen I couldn’t agree more, hunting elk or mule deer in any type of terrain without a quiver and extra arrows is a pretty foolish plan if you need a quick follow up shot. With a higher quality quiver it becomes a part of my bows stability system as well and factors into balance and accuracy. Doesn’t matter if I’m hunting deer, elk, bears, moose lol you name it! I’ll always have my quiver on my bow.

      I use a Korean traditional bow (horse bow). No gear, no rest, and arrows in hand. I hunt paper in my backyard in Oklahoma city😂... I also talk trash about archers online because if you aren't like me, then you must be wrong? JK Nice shooting! Better than therapy, and helps me with sobriety!
