I wish dual force would come back too but unfortunately I think it’s impossible for it to come back. I have a very strong theory that WB had dual force be a tax write off and when media is made into a tax write off you can never publish it again. WB is known to write off stuff a lot so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what happened. Also everyone got refunds for everything they spent on the game which never happens for games so that’s why I think it was a tax write off and will never come back

It seems that Bruce Timm has forgotten about: Talia Al Ghul Phantasm Red Claw Baby Doll Calendar Girl Firefly Amanda Waller Roxy Rocket and Sofia Falcone. Batman doesn't have a female villain problem, he has a "Bruce Timm doesn't remember the animated series" problem. That show has given us a good amount of female villains and it annoys me that some people don't seem to remember these characters. I also don't like that Penguin had his gender changed because he's been a man throughout history. Comic books, cartoons, tv shows, and movies have all portrayed Penguin as a man and he should stay that way.

I do think he has a female villain problem. I'm not saying he NEEDS more female villains but he certainly does lack major female villains or female villains not overshadowed by male counterparts. Firstly, who do we even count as villains anymore? Catwoman hasn't really been a villain in the comics for decades at this point and DC keeps trying to push Harley and Ivy into being Anti-Heroes. Talia really only became a villain in the 2000s and most fans of her character hate that, especially after what Morrison did. Then there's Shiva who, while she has fought Batman and the BatFamily more than any other hero or hero family, I'd argue that she's a lot more of her own thing rather than specifically being a Batman villain, she was created as a Richard Dragon supporting character and has connections to other heroes (Black Canary, The Question, Green Arrow, and Birds of Prey). It's also arguable if she even counts as a villain considering her only really villainous qualities is being an assassin but she also has a lot of times where she is actively helping heroes like Batman, Richard Dragon, Bronze Tiger, The Question, Batgirl (Cassandra), and the Birds of Prey, she even trained The Question and Tim Drake, even retraining Batman after Bane broke his back. So, yeah, a lot of female Batman villains either aren't really villains or are a lot more complicated. To me, there's only really 3 Batman villains that I think are good and important, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Nyssa al Ghul. Catwoman, Talia, and Shiva aren't villains to me. Then there's Copperhead from Arkham Origins who has started appearing in the comics but, at least to me, is overshadowed by the John Doe version of the character, the original version of the character, the gifted assassin who challenged several of DC heroes besides Batman like Hawk and Dove, Superboy, Jack Knight, and Manhunter. He was a founding member of the Secret Society of Super Villains, was in the first Injustice League in the DCAU, and was killed by Kate Spencer in the opening arc of Manhunter. Honestly, most of what makes Copperhead interesting has basically nothing to do with Batman aside for his first appearance and the gender swap in Arkham Origins. Sure, there are OTHER female Batman villains like Phantasm, Calendar Girl, the Kabuki Twins, Roxy Rocket, Baby Doll, Sondra Fuller's version of Clayface, Red Claw, Magpie, etc. However, all of those are pretty minor and while some of them are good some of them are just uninteresting. These characters could be made interesting if someone were to write them in a way that makes them interesting, but that still means that, currently, there isn't really many good female Batman villains.

If they made a sequel I'm 10000% jumping on.

I want to go on the record and say that DC comics let alone bat man have better female villains in their universe than Marvel comics Marvel comics female villains are the following mystique lady Hydra Cassandra Nova madam mask spiral Lady death strike and that's about it Batman has a variant of very good female villains and bruised him really did miss the mark. Magpie Lady Shiva baby doll. Maybe he didn't do his research maybe he saw these characters and didn't have faith in their abilities I don't know but the point is is that we missed an opportunity and it's very sad

I think the problem with the batman's good female villians is that for the most part is that they don't tend to be too likable. Not very many are twisted in a completely unsympathetic way.

Great picks. Peacemaker game would be great. Adding those helmet abilities from the TV show would make for a pretty fun shooter if done right. My pick would be Constantine. Imagine all the zany mindbending bullshit they can do with a big budget triple A Hellblazer based constantine game.

Very good video, I´d say it´s a mix personally for me when it comes to comics in general. Batman for excample has a really great female rouges gallery and Tim and Dini added many characters to the mythos during the time on tas. However other´s have it less favourable I´d say, like I can name you three female Green Lantern villains, although that´s more a problem with comic villains in general, not everthing sticks at times and outisde of the comic space knowledge over them is rather limited. I dunno I hope some more rouges show up in season 2 whenever it get´s announced, like one of the older forgotten tas characters Calendar Girl.
