Yummy, ice cream topped it off.
Yes! Gotta have ice cream!
Love DELICIOUS and SIMPLE 😊
Yes! Simple always works for me.
May God bless your heart your personality is so sweet and old school and you cook with so much love
Thank you so much!! I love cooking and i’m definitely old school! 🤣🤣Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy this recipe.❤️❤️
Thank you! I feel like I've been searching for this recipe my whole life. These look like the rolls my mother used to make.
You are so welcome. I hope you enjoy this recipe. It’s always a wonderful feeling when someone says a recipe reminds them of their mothers.❤️Please let me know how they turned out. ❤️❤️
Looks delicious ❤❤
Thank you so much!
I’m old and learned to make biscuits from scratch with lard from grandma. She laughed when I made them with cream of tartar added. Years ago I made some drop biscuits trying to replicate Red Lobster. They were quick and easy and no rolling pin needed. I lost the recipe. Yours is the closest I’ve found! Question though, it seems I used sweetened condensed milk rather than buttermilk. Do I have a case of old timers or is it possible to substitute? Appreciate your opinion in advance!😅PS yours look delicious and you have inspired me to get back in the kitchen and try again ❤
Thank you!! I’ve always used buttermilk, but my mother used sweetened condensed milk sometimes!! NO..you don’t have a case of old timers 🤣🤣🤣I do believe that will work just fine! However, my recipe does call for buttermilk. Thank you so much for watching my video and I know yours are gonna turn out great!!
I am so glad I found your channel! Oh my gosh! These look amazing!!! I’ve never been good at making any kind of bread or rolls, but I’m going to try these! 🥰 And the lasagne looks delicious too! I just watched that video! Thank you so much for sharing! 🥰❤
Thank you so much! I really hope you love them! You’re going to do great!! Please let me know how they turn out!👍🏽❤️
Can the dough be frozen if yes how long
Good question! I’ve never used frozen dough. I’m assuming it would work just fine as long as the biscuits have been portioned out before freezing. However, because I’ve never done it, I can’t say for sure. Thanks for watching!
I like that you suggested boiling some water while making the dough. Great hack! I live in the Northwest and it gets real dry in the house from the heat and woodburning stove and I noticed that the dough need more water.
Thank You!! Most times our solutions are so easy and don’t cost a thing. lol. Thank you so much for watching!👍🏽
I’ve got to get bread flour tomorrow, can’t wait to bake these, they look delicious.
I'm so glad you like the recipe! I hope you enjoy them! Please let me know how they turn out!👍🏽
Just found you today. What a joy. Your hands are your best tools in the kitchen, and I love the fact that you used a plastic bag. Use wat you have is my motto. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I agree, sometimes the simplest tools are the best! Thank you so much for watching❤️❤️
I usually put my flour in the fridge too.
Yes! The colder the better when it comes to making biscuits. Thanks for watching.❤️
Looks great. I will try this one
That’s great! I’m sure you’re gonna love it!
Looks delicious! Easy recipe. Thank you for sharing 😊
You’re so welcome! I’m so glad you liked the recipe! ❤️Thanks for watching👍🏽
I like this idea how you didn’t use a biscuit cutter to avoid the scraps.
Thank you! It really helps with the process of making these biscuits!
I am going to try this this looks very delicious your bread is thank you for the recipe
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you love the rolls! ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love to cook and always wanted a simple dinner roll recipe. If I want to use a blender would I do everything the same but just place in the blender as I have a bread kneader.
Yes! That would work better for you. A bread kneader is definitely really really good. It’s gonna make it easier for you. I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Your recipe said stick of butter but show using 1/4 cup of butter what the correct one?
Hey, the recipe calls for one full stick. A 1/4 cup is melted in the beginning of the recipe, The other 1/4 cup is softened and added after the yeast has activated. I also use a tablespoon of vegetable oil, but thats really optional. Hope you enjoy this recipe. Thanks for watching!
This type of baking makes me nervous when yeast is involved lol. I’m gonna follow your recipe and take a stab at it. It’s either gonna go right or wrong for me lol, so we’ll see🤷🏾♀️
You’re gonna do a great job!! since you are new to baking and don’t like using yeast, I would recommend to leave out the vegetable oil step and just use the butter. It’ll probably work better for you. Thank you so much for watching. I’m sure it’s gonna turn out great! You got this!!👍🏽
Wow that looks yummy and so easy to make. Thanks for sharing on your channel and I just subscribed.
I am so glad you subscribed. Thank you so much for watching! ❤️ I really hope you enjoy this recipe!

Thank you! I love making biscuits. ❤️❤️❤️
Looks delicious
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching
Too much butter, melted would work no need for cold. Must have meant baking soda to go with soured milk. Since there was little rise, perhaps it was baking powder. A good rule is a teaspoon of baking powder per cup of flour.
Cold butter is always better than melted In my opinion. I will admit, my oven in my house did not bake these up as fluffy as I would’ve liked. (could’ve been the temperature i baked them on ) However, I use this recipe all the time at my restaurant and they always turn out beautifully. This recipe works really well for me. Thanks so much for watching👍🏽
Thank you Sis😊 You've been a blessing 😊 I have all the ingredients, and have been Afraid to make dinner rolls and biscuits. Thank you 😊 💓

I love Candied Yams my mother cook candied yams Happy BLACK HISTORY MONTH Blessings and HUGS 👑💜🔯
Happy Black History Month to you as well!❤️❤️
I tried your recipe and began getting my ingredients ready when I realized I had no milk. I used half evaporated milk/ water and then added 1 Tbs vinegar to make the "buttermilk." Everything went well and when I tasted one after they had cooked (took 14 min in my oven), they didn't seem as tasty as I thought they would.. Then I remembered that I hadn't added the butter/ garlic salt. That makes such a difference. Delicious!! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Yes, those ingredients make a major difference!! Thank you so much for trying this recipe. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!

@cassandrapye4809 My family was in awe ❣
Have to use bread flour?
You can definitely use all purpose. I just like bread flour for a chewier cookie, but all purpose works great too, and it is of course used in most cookies recipes anyway👍🏽
They SMELL so GOOOODT!!! but I have to tell YOU, I would've finished those rolls in 1 sitting.
“One Sitting”? 🤣🤣🤣 So glad you like the recipe. Thank you so much for watching.❤️❤️❤️
LOOKS DELICIOUS!!🙂
Thank you!
I will be trying your yeast roll recipe. Did you say you have a restaurant if so where are you located.
Glad to know you will be trying the recipe. Yes! I have a restaurant called “Southern Hands homestyle Cooking. My family and I own four locations in the Memphis Tn. I operate the location in the Whitehaven area of Memphis.
Will you be cooking your cornbread dressing recipe soon.
I was actually gonna save the dressing recipe for around the holidays. but yes, I will be cooking our dressing recipe. If you go on my shorts feed, you will see a lot of we offer at my restaurant. Thanks so much for watching my video!❤️👍🏽
Looks delicious ❤
Thanks so much!❤️
Can yo double this recipe?
Of course. However, I would not double the vegetable oil.
Great recipe
Thank you!! Are you gonna try it?
I just made this today! The can of peaches I used didn't have that much in it compared to the size of apple pie filling. Could it have been a 2 pound can of peaches? I know the commercial size cans are different compared to the home kitchen sizes. I had to use a smaller pan due to the amount of the peaches. It smells delicious and I can't wait to taste it!
Hey. The can I used is a 1 lb and 13oz can. that was an error on my part. You are correct. It is almost a 2 pound can. I didn’t say the 13 ounces my apologies. I’m up dating that right now in my description box. thanks for letting me know that.
Making these asap!❤❤
