My name I Sacha and welcome to Real Driver Cars.
Since a young age, I have always loved cars and my channel is all about cars, driving, building and maintaining them.
but for me the sometimes the best cars were not the most beautiful but the ones that pushed the right buttons! These are cars that were fun to drive, not always fast but that gave the driver a feel of involvement, a feel of connection with what was going on. I think the pinnacle of driver cars was in the 80's and 90's. Fast, Fun and affordable cars such as the the rally holomogation specials from Toyota, Lancia, Mitsubishi and Subaru, Hot hatch heaven from Renault, Peugeot, VW, Ford and Opel (Vauxall). Many with no ABS let alone traction control, these were cars that you had to drive and respect as nothing was going to save you if you over did it.
Hope you enjoy my channel!

PigMi -Porsche engined Mini build episode 2 - will the engine fit?
In this episode I finish off the basics of the main rollbar and try and fit the engine in place, but will it fit?
I love cars, I love minis. In the past I have bike engined my mini but and regreted every day since I sold it. When I bought this mini shell and parts I had always planned to rebuild it original but I soon decided to use the engine in my other mini at which point and engine swap was the logical answer...
Follow my build for the first rear engined mini with a porsche flat 6 in in the back!

I was just thinking cant wait for you to get that block ice blasted. I have used theblastsmith in the past and he did some amazing work. I cant wait for next video and happy new year.
Crap car but that music is banging 😂, I believe the youngsters call it drum and bass 👍👍
This is Ace
At least it will be more reliable than a mini!
Merry Christmas, looking forward to seeing more of this.
OMG that music. Can't watch
Can't wait to see how you get on with this.
Merry Xmas
Keep This up mate u will be a UA-cam star before u know it. Love this project and look forward to next instalment.
Subbed! Please outdo project binky!
I would love to see this mid engine conversion
What an amazing project and I love your calm and relaxed way of explaining what you're doing! I agree though on the comments about the music in the first episode and find the choice of music on 2nd episode perfectly chosen 🙌🏻 Can't wait for more videos to come!
Great work. Subbed and looking forward to the rest of the build. Love the name too PigMi. 😁😁
Fantastic project. Unique in 2 ways. One for being from Italy
待ってたよ!
@@hidekkun5296 thank you!
Love the music from video 1 and this thx , great work
Like the music thx
Great project great video diary
😆 love the welding 'goggles' 🤣 great couple of vids! Cant wait to see the rest, also, ditto the Project Binky vibes 👍
As a guy who loves British cars this is proper cool I am getting project Binky vibes subscribed!
Your thumping background "music?" is so annoying, I will never be back, which is a real shame because your project really interests me.
@@Christographer_UK I’m sorry about the music, you are not the first to comment and I have learnt from my mistake. I have just released a new episode which I think will make up for it.
thankyou, looking forward to more 👍
The music was fine before. Use what you like, it's your project
What are you doing with the remaining parts? I'd like to build a Mini engined Boxter 😄
You should be so proud of your work. Just brilliant. Subbed
Very nice project, concise, well thought out, no hype. I see an Exeter reg on the porsche!
I was sad for the porsche
Cool, looking forward to following this build
What's with the annoying noise ? Had to turn off the sound.....crap !
Kill the noise , it aint music....
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I would have left the porsche engine in its chassis and removed all the boxter body work and replaced it with Mini bodywork.
@@RIPPERTON it would be easier, but I don’t think you could consider it afterwards a mini
Better than binky
Looks like a great project dude, and nothing wrong with the pink 😂
I love these Type Builds! Started with Binky, then Watched Jeff put a Ferrari V8 engine in a Alfa Romeo, currently watching a Irish chap put a Complete Boxster under a Metro with a 6r4 Bodykit and now a mini with a Porsche engine and front Subframe👍 I like your Music on the Last Video but this has a Bit more Chill Vibe. I've now Subscribed 👏
The 6r4 bloke is Peden Conceptz
Great Project he is building. I wanted to keep it as much as possible a mini... Similar to the Z-cars bike engine conversions. I would have kept the front subframe but wheels and brakes would not be big enough.
Don't apologise for the music. It's your channel, do what you like. No one is being forced to watch it. Also be aware that there's another channel out there with a multi video series on engine swapping a Mini, which involved extensive bracket fabrication...
Great video, you make it all seem easy but it definitely isn't! Will be watching the series with interest. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Thanks for watching!
Great project, your going to have a lot of fun! The track is very wide for the body, what have you planed? There's a irish guy doing a boxter metro, but thats a 6r4 replica with the mega wide bodykit. You've probably seen it but uf not ill find a link 👍 here it is, one of my current favourite builds ua-cam.com/play/PLtXssEucnVPUBq81kksYs7s0G1RzUNI1K.html&si=Csh3Y-GJCh0L5qef
Great Project he is building. I wanted to keep it as much as possible a mini and mini shell... if possible! It will be similar to the Z-cars bike engine conversions in that the main part of the shell is kept and it is not a silhouette racer. I would have kept the front subframe but wheels and brakes would not be big enough and the proportions would have been very strange.
@realdrivercars7734 I look forward to seeing all the solutions you come up with. One day I'll be brave and make something custom! Good luck 👍
People got upset about the music? They need to get a grip and get over themselves. Great work, can’t wait to see all the videos as you progress, have whatever music you want.
Love it but did u have to start with a nice mini... ✂️
@@D4VE26 on video looks good but I bought it and had been badly repaired after an accident and needed to be registered again so it was perfect for this project.
Nice work! Where did you do the laser cut stuff?
@@bviep very lucky as all Local, huge choice of companies who can do it.
if i was doin 1 i'd aim 4 400bhp n 4wd' the 2l vw turbo. with haldex n l,s,d,s. n a load of other cool electronics. defo programable engine management. cage the shell chop the roof widen n lengthen. 2 fit the drive chain in. 2 seater so enough space for a good survival cell. i like the type r honda turbo lump but not that 4wdrive'y. n the vvt dont get u that much more that the wv 2L. both would require STUPID amounts of coin. not that i really gave it much thought. good look. i don't know where ya putting that Porsche lump. BALANCE ?
Love the explanation rather than a Timelapse with music. I’m hooked.
Boring monotone voice i cant watch
Thanks for that. Goodby.
What a negative response. This is such an interesting project shame you can't add something useful.
Im sorry you feel that way!
Love what you’re doing with this❤
You know, in the middle-ages, you would have been burnt for this at the stake. You are definitely in league with the 😈 building this abomination. Looks great, btw 😆 👍.
Im invested in this series now. Great work and it will be amazing when it's finished.
Thanks for posting. Looking forward to the next video.
Amazing stuff! Thanks for the entertainment. Ignore the melts commenting about the music... And the one comment saying, "I've subbed but if you don't update in x amount of time I'll unsub" They're all melts mate. Thanks so much for the *free content*, hope the channel grows and I hope the project turns out well. I wish I had the skills / money to do a project like this. But I don't have either! 🤣
Content great; music *much* less intrusive - good job!
