this is all good advice. I would add that a power outlet near the toilet is also needed for installing a bidet, so the money spent on the install isn't wasted even if the person who needs the electric seat moves out.

Enjoyed your video. I started having a small booth and had $89 in net sales so far in 12 days. My rent space for a small 2 wall area is $150. Plus I have to give 10% of gross sales. It’s a high traffic area and busy place so I feel if this does not work nothing will. I’m leaning towards also doing online sales as the rent sucks and so does the 10% however it feels nice having a piece of a storefront, having a cashier, and a place that will sell my things without me mailing or packing anything. I also don’t have to deal with personalities or bad reviews etc. Their store does not me! I also sell online courses and educational pdfs and that is pretty much passive income. So having multiple gigs is probably the way to do things nowadays. Good luck everyone!

I live in California - have space - so much fun as a hobby - I go to Arkansas often hoping to get some real deals but I find that most of the vintage shops have higher prices then in California- Do you find that also? So funny vender had a Fenton Hobnail MG 12 inch swung at $145 - but had a ceramic Elf vintage - $2 lol you know I got the elf

For anyone considering the adult bibs, my Mom has been wearing her "pearls" at every meal for some years. She loves them! I think she's got about 10 of them. She's given them as gifts as well and they've been well received. We look at the "pearls" as fun. Like she's dressing up for each meal. Highly recommend.

I am 88 years old those hearing aids that you talk about are no good. You need to go to a hearing specialist and get a hearing aid and adjust it according to your hearing.

Kudos for your thoughtful and USEFUL suggestions. I've seen so many videos of insulting videos that assume that just because one is over the age of 65, they are completely disabled or demented. These are suggestions that actually would be welcomed.

I need a GOOD shoe horn, I've bought several but they are painful to use. I'd like one that is wide to hold my shoe open with a shovel-like handle, told my son I need to invent one...

I love older ppl. I work at a nursing home. These are great ideas but, let me stress that the best thing you can give an older person is your time. They just want to know they are loved, appreciated and valued. Bring a gift but, when you bring it, stay a while and come back often. This seeing them 2-3 times a year on their birthday, Mothers Day and Christmas is not good enough.

These are nice suggestions. As a senior myself, a great gift for me would be pet care like groomer appointments, pet sitting if I must be hospitalized for a few days, pay for quality pet food, pet health insurance or cover the pet's medical costs...Pets are so important to many people. I am no longer able to afford veterinary care for my little old dog. I pray she doesn't get sick or injured!

My sister refuses to use a lift chair or lazyboy type recliner because she is deathly afraid a pet will get underneath and harmed. Maybe the seat raiser alone will help. I wish the chairs had warning systems!
