Ughh these characters are so good but this movie is so bad. They simultaneously didn't have anything to say about the original but all the changes to the story are for the worse. The script is patronizing and self-indulgent. Wish they'd just done a tv show about these two characters tbh

Now that you mention it, I like the Coachman's behavior and mannerisms prior to making his proposition: Civilly tolerating the fox's boastful bragging, and politely waiting to speak while looking unimpressed with John and Gideon's meager "earnings."
