Wonderful in everyway! Fabulous song rendition and I love the animations too!!
What a great and fun cartoon!
Awesome special effects 🤘😝reminds me of a TOOL video
good stuff
I'm getting Tim Burton vibes from this.
Feels like a Jim Henson Short.
This definitely looks like someone's been watching Tim Burton's early works.
I thought this was just Blender animation made to look like puppets, similar to WorthiKids or that Scooby Doo FNAF thing, so definitely surprised to see actually puppeteers and camera operators listed in the credits.
The animators of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” did all of the scenes.
I wish this song got more recognition
How did Fred bowl on his tiptoes like that?
Fred is alway's a good bowler
Why I was recommended this 14 years late I don't know. But once again the algorithm pulled through
Going for the “Rankin Bass” feel. Makes me think of “Mad Monster Party”.
Reminds me of when View Master reels used photographed clay figures.
This must've took them a lot of hours to make
Fred! You have a Wife!
This is damn good work!
Wonderful old stop-motion work!! And so long before it was ever fashionable or cool.
Amazing ‘50s short!
What the world needs.
It sucks how this is the only HD clip of this special that has ever surfaced.
Tim Burton definitely saw this before designing A Nightmare Before Christmas! 💀
inspirational!!!
This scene always cracks me up everytime totally made my evening great!
There’s a Muppet vibe to this. Mose resembles Crazy Harry, always blowing things up. Henson collected novelty songs like this and used them on SAM & FRIENDS and his later series. Always admired the work of the Chiodo Bros.
Fun fact this was first shown in a festival called spike and Mike festival of animation
Hi! Mysterious Mose was part of Spike & Mike at the end of it's film festival run. The film's debut was at the Slamdance Film Festival way back in 1999. 😁👍🏽
Que buenos tiempos
Remember viewers never daydream or imagine while Driving
I remember watching this as a child was Jeffrey Dahmer. I didn't stay for the whole thing.
What’s the storyline, though?
engineer gaming
Hi! sorry for bothering do you have Saved By The Bell after effects template? I found your comment under the video on youtube
In a lot of ways, the Flintstones: On the Rocks was more of a lookback at 1950s/60s Americana values and aesthetics as much as a tribute to the original show.
GRAND DAD!
Just know Fred was Dreaming away from his past , win win win Greatest bowler in Bedrock
why would the old man wait for them every night? not getting it.
honestly it's quite a disgrace how stop motion is only ever used for adult "comedies" nowadays
This is great
Trophy lady is a hottie!
Fun fact which I learned the other day: The people who animated this part would go on to animated Robot Chicken.
I've just recently discovered this original song. I've always known the tune from the Porky Pig cartoon "Wholly Smoke". This has very strong Spike Jones vibes, especially with Mose driving his jalopy up and down the hills. I'm also seeing some influence from Jack Benny's Maxwell (as "voiced" by Mel Blanc) in that part.
Terrible.
You know screen novelties animated this one!
It kinda reminds of the opening credits to “Walt Disney’s The Parent Trap”.
Muy bueno
Creepy shit
This so freaky
