Nice video. I don't understand why some people make such an issue & criticize "Bhagavad Gita As It Is". I am from a Shaivite Hindu family & not a follower of ISKCON. But I have read "Bhagavad Gita As It Is" which I got from an ISKCON monk who was distributing it at a Traffic Junction. I did not find anything wrong with it. I agree that in some places the purports tend to be a bit long and go overboard about Krishna being the Supreme Godhead, but that is understandable because ISKCON will promote their own Gaudiya Vaishnava Philosophy & try to prove that Krishna is superior to any other.

Hare Krishna!! 😊Thanks to your suggestion, I started writing down the meanings of the verses but from the 365 Gita app. I hope to finish that soon, progress to reading the Gita before I begin Gita Journaling. Here’s my request; I would love for you to make short videos with journal prompts for us to work on. ( themes only not personal entries) Probably you could divide it by chapter and make an 18 video series or anything that you deem appropriate. Please continue making more such videos as they are really an inspiration to people like me. 😊

Received Vanamali ma's Nitya yoga today. By reading the introduction & 1st chapter it completely blew my mind!!! Especially the part where she wrote why Lord Krishna gave Gita gyan to Arjuna on the battlefield rather than giving this knowledge in a peaceful place or any ashram. Mind blowing!!!!! Each and every sentence needs to read slowly and carefully in order to grasp what she's trying to say. Indeed she is a jeevanmukta and a yogi of the highest order. So grateful to lord and Vanamali maa for this knowledge. 🕉️🙏🏻

I love how detailed your study of the Gita is. Breaking down the verse and dwelling upon it allows for improvement in our mental health for sure. Amidst the hustle of life, I can vouch for the fact that the Gita changes you, one verse at a time. I suggest studying in Hindi as english is poor language for translating and Expressing Sanskrit Words...Hindi can do that

After watching your videos, I finally checked out the version by Swami Ranganathanda and I am simply in wow..... It feels like this version of Gita is written as an easy read and a complete practical manual to be implemented. The commentaries are all related to modern issues and examples that we have to execute in our daily lives... Now, I feel Other Gita versions are focused on understanding Sri Krishna's message whereas this is more like a handbook manual. Even if the concepts are difficult for a beginner, The language & examples are so modern that a person can just read this version of Gita as a Life Manual and he will be living a great life... Once again, Thank You so much.... 😇

Hi, I haven’t read or finished any Book on Bhagavad Geeta yet but aspiring to read and understand. I have started with Swami Sivananda commentary but I am very new to this path so don’t have much to comment on any verse. Hopefully, in future I will have my favorite verse and reason of being favorite. Love to watch your videos.
