This channel, made for educational purposes only, is dedicated to the composers of Polish Radio Experimental Studio (abbreviated form: PRES) - a Polish institution of electroacoustic music, which had been founded in 1957 (officially closed in 2004).
The main purposes of PRES were creating audial illustrations for various radio plays or allowing composers performing their electronic, autonomous works. The studio at first was directed by Józef Patkowski - an ambitious musicologist. The first ever work made there was Włodzimierz Kotoński's "Study for One Cymbal Stroke" from 1959.

The most recognizable workers of the studio were: Eugeniusz Rudnik, Bohdan Mazurek, Włodzimierz Kotoński, Andrzej Dobrowolski, Bogusław Schaeffer, Krzysztof Knittel, Elżbieta Sikora, Arne Nordheim, Tomasz Sikorski, Andrzej Bieżan or even Krzysztof Penderecki and many more.
