    Looks like it would work better, if you had the drill mounted. That way it won't bounce around all over the place. Probably want to make a funnel-like chute to direct the foam into the rotating screws and something to push the foam down with safely, similar to a meat grinder.

    How do you put the thread ? I just got mine and don’t know where the thread goes through???

    • @themanitobaman1964
      @themanitobaman1964 Місяць тому

      @eliva409, There should have been some fine thread that was included with the machine, you can follow that. This is how my thread is. From the thread spool take the thread from the top and push it through the middle hole in the big arm close to the middle nut. Take the thread between the spring loaded washers, then straight across to the little ring at the front, put the thread in from the bottom and go up to the ring at the top above the hollow pipe for the needle. You will need to push a stiff wire up from the needle. Tie the thread to the stiff wire and pull the tread down towards the needle. Then thread the needle from the front to the back. I hope this helps you. Roger

      @@rogercurrie Thank you, Roger, I have a couple of pieces of "glazed goat" similar to that color from Maverick leather. I live in a very small town in Virginia and just down the road in Lynchburg there is an enormous leather warehouse (Moore & Giles) that caters to large companies like airlines and auto companies, but sadly we have no local leather retail shop like a Tandy. Moore and Giles used to have monthly remnant sales, but some customers started fighting over the scraps and they discontinued the sales. Fortunately, there are a lot of online companies that sell to hobbyists and small operators. Thank you for sharing your expertise! 😊

      Several of the Garmen navy systems designated which back up cameras connect, the model 40 for example, fits with many, if not most. But that connection is wireless, which I DON'T want--at all. I'll talk to Garmin tech support tomorrow, and see if any of em allow hard wire connection. I know it is done--look at any new car today, they arrive with a back-up camera, hard wired in.
