AMSTERDAM - Zaanse Schans Windmills, Clogs, Cheese. Walking Tours and Travel Vlog
Stewy and Emery are in Amsterdam, Netherlands for 3 days. In this episode we go on a guided tour of the beautiful historic Zaanse Schans. A short drive northwest of Amsterdam, it's famous for its collection of historic windmills and wooden houses. We attended demonstrations of traditional crafts such as cheese making at Catharina Cheese farm and clog making at the Klompenmakerij De Zaanse Schans . We enjoyed the picturesque walking trails along the Zaan River as we moved from one attraction to the next. It was chilly and windy, so we warmed up in The Bakery Museum with hot chocolate and freshly baked treats. Back at the Kimpton DeWitt we enjoyed a wonderful Dutch Tapas meal and met some wonderful people.

Enjoyed the tour of the wooden houses & historic windmills and the landscape. Interesting cheeses at the cheese farm. I believe I was in Amsterdam 33 years ago and also stepped into those large wooden clogs. I just love all the delicious looking pastries offered in the bakery.

Emery is working on that video right now... We go to the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages”, San Gimignano. It is renowned for its collection of medieval skyscrapers.
Another great production, love the music selections along with the video. Looked like a great trip to Pisa. Based on Emory's recommendation, I can't wait to try the Birra Moretti beer when I visit Italy next month! Loved that beef lunch...lol. 🤣

Hi David, sometimes it seems like all we eat is pizza and drink beer... but, we can't help it, it's so delicious. And, the tableside Tiramisu was just as amazing. Mark is passionate about history and it shows.

Wow guys, Oktoberest looked like so much fun there in Vail. That birdhouse was unbelievable! I still remember when I drank my 1st Coors when I was about 19 and thought it was the best beer ever made then. Such a beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Oh, and I really liked that O2 bottle you used, it reminded me of my days as a crew member in a NAVY aircraft...lol 🙂 Thanks for such a lovely video production and sharing your experience.

Such a fantastic town, Dubrovnik. How is that "good luck" working from rubbing the nose on the playwright statue...LOL? The scenery was fantastic, that beer garden look so cozy, and the Zen moment was very cool. Glad you didn't fall over that wall on your walk.
