hi guys ! i've finally moved into my dorm at UC Davis (lwk i'm already missing the food from home but it's okay!) and finished decorating it! here's what to expect for a dorm at Cuarto, most of which are triples in suites. if you couldn't tell, i rlly like miffy decor and hopefully i'll get a miffy lamp one day (where i'll put it, i have no idea!) but lmk if you have any questions !

Heyy do u know if the desks in the other dorms look like that? Idk whether to bring my own drawer or if it'll have one like that. Im gonna be in a triple and dont want to waste space.
hi! yes! all the desks in every dorm should be like mine with the drawers on the side! tbh it's a lot of storage and if you want even more i'd bring bins to put under your bed so it look s less cluttered, hope that helps!
I am so excited to see this! I'm moving in in two weeks and this helped me understand the layout. I have a double, but I'm assuming that it will still have a triple set-up. Also, does Shasta have a kitchen?

ahh don’t be scared ! you’ll be perfectly fine! for my first week i think i was there 5-10 minutes early, just to have time to find bike parking, the classroom and chat to people next to me

hello! I recently got off the Davis waitlist and committed for the fall :) I’m worried I’m too late to choose dorms, would you say the housing portal is easy to access and work out? Are there any “bad dorms” per se? Thank you for the video!
i’d say the oldest dorms are regan main in segundo but the rest aren’t bad. the housing portal is pretty easy to navigate, you can also select preferences for different LLCs and look up the floor plan for those buildings !

hi! there’s a portal you can use to search roommates by preferences (study habits, sleep schedule, etc) and you can also search for your friends if you have someone in mind already! hope that helps 🤗

Based on your video, it's hard to judge how big the room really is. You said that you have a room mate. Is it one room per person or one room for both? If it's one room for 2 people, I wished that you stepped back to give the entire room a shot so we can see the actual layout of the 2 beds. Is it one shared desk? 2 desks? Wished that you showed the bathroom set up. Perhaps shoot when no one is in there to be respectful.
hi! i have a roommate so that means we both share the one room! i didn’t want to show too much of my roommates side out of respect for her space, but it’s the same layout on her side. we each have our own desk. i didn’t want to record in the bathrooms but my building’s bathrooms have 4 shower stalls, 4 toilets, 4 sinks and lockers to hold stuff! hope that cleared things up!
