G1, G2, and G3 were the best hands down. The magic of the franchise was destroyed with G4 onwards. The “ponies” don’t even look like ponies.

Grew up with G3-G4 although G3 will always be the og mlp era for me, I remember I used to sing and try to remember all of the songs with my dad.

i grew up with G4 and i must say, i really loved mlp. it played a huge part in my childhood and everyday as a kid i would watch it on TV 24/7 and i even collected some of the dolls. I loved mlp so much that it was my #1 out of all the cartoons i have watched. I was a huge fan of it! I really do miss those times and as a 14 year old now, we should definitely realise that the younger generation are lucky because they still have their childhood going on and once they get older it will hit them that it will just be gone and you will grow into different things. I personally dont like the design of G5, and i wish they stuck to the mane 6 but then again theres always an end to everything + they did release a lot like the mlp movie, Fim, equestria girls. But i wish they stuck to the old characters because it would be more interesting to see how they grow but in the last episode of fim we can see that they all look a bit different, but still, i wish they officially stuck to the g4 characters because now theres loads of people out there who do not like g5 and hasbro was succeeding during the g4 era. Also the songs were bangers and the characters were really cool. Its just sad how they changed literally everything and now we see a whole bunch of different people in g5, but now its hard to get the voice actors back so theres nothing we can do, it was fun while it lasted tho

My little Pony since 1984 till 2009 had such a beautiful design, then netflix came and ruined everything in every cartoon we loved like Pony, She-Ra, Thundercats etc. But fortunately there is still hope since the CGI movie New Generation. It was beautiful story with beautiful CGI pony models. I hope they stop use stupid design. Older cartton had poor technology but such beautiful art.

I understand why the gen3 my little pony is not highly praised since it was more pandering to young girls than anything else but stories being feel good moments of respite should be acknowledged as such and not judged solely for being simple stories for young audiences

As someone born in 2005, I loved My Little Pony when I was little. For me, the best MLP is the one from the 2000’s 🥰

It’s kinda beautiful to watch a simple series made for kids grow up into an action/comedy with a lot of lore

g3 ponies and g4 ponies was my childhood because I was born in 2003 and I always remember watching it Everyday when I came back from school and it brings back so many memories but I do love my little pony a new generation 2021 a lot too though because it’s a great change and the ponies are incredible too ❤and I was 18 during 2021 which is unbelievable and I’m turning 20 this year in 2023 which is insane too 🎉by the way my birthday is on April 4th

All you posers and fakes think you know about the franchise, but don't even remember an old, comic book style cartoon from the 80s that everyone seems to have forgotten! I know, because I can't find it anywhere, but it did exist because I had the VHS tape of it for years before it was lost! A rare gem, indeed. You're not a fan if you don't know what I'm talking about.
