I care to remind you every person that dies in griffith's kingdom is sent to the abyss, a never ending vortex of suffering souls that fuels the godhand themselves. Not to mention every implication brought forth by the helix world tree and fantasia and how that forced people to live under griffith to survive. That's still not counting the eclipse or the incarnation ceremony or the First Eclipse which saw the demise of an entire empire in one single night, nor ganishka's war campaign on the west. Truly there's no contest here.

Griffith forced humanity as a whole into a world full of every monster humanity ever imagined and made his own kingdom the only place where people could live safely (until the time comes to sacrifice them all just like he did with his own soldiers ). He also traps every soul that dies in his kingdom into a never-ending vortex of souls to further fuel the powers he and the rest of the godhand have. Even before that during the two years between the eclipse and the incarnation ceremony phemto and the rest of the godhand plunged the world in a state of famine and spread a deadly plague just to make people miserable enough to cry out for a saviour, then gave everyone a fake dream prophecy to brainwash everybody into expecting griffith as their god-hero. There's literally no comparison with what Reiner and Berthold did, a few thousands dead and food shortages don't even come close to all of what griffith's still doing and i didn't even cover everything, this is just silly.

The main point of the video was to give 5 anime that have some sort of life lesson that will change your perspective on life. Although all the anime you listed expect for sonny boy are good. Now this is a comment that violates my rights!!!! They are setting the stage and developing characters you need to do that when creating a story. Your impatiences and lack of understanding of Re:zero, and storytelling has completely violated my rights!!!! Now I say to you…GO and rewatch rezero s1, s2, and s3 all over again and you will understand there was always a lot of dialogue. NOW GO!!!!!! @@mcpodcast2699 okay but the characters aren’t interesting and I don’t care about their development. Any character development anyone has had this far is extremely superficial. The world building is lazy and so generic that it seems almost intentional. It’s isekai slop. The thing that makes re zero interesting is the return by death mechanic and they’re not even utilizing it. What in the world is the point of character development of all these characters are going to be dead in a few episodes and the world resets? And it’s not even character development they’ve been discussing their plan to attack for 3 FULL EPISODES to then have the plan literally be “kick down the front door.” Re zero doesn’t do dialogue well, it doesn’t to character development well, it doesn’t do character design well, it literally does everything poorly in terms of story telling besides the gimmick of the show and they’re not utilizing it so this is pretty much just unwatchable.

Ok first I wanna say is that rezero is one of the best written story currently in anime. Second what anime do you consider that has good story and character development? Finally on a serious note saying that re:zero story and character development is sloppy you have to be trolling. I question if you even watched re:zero because the best thing that rezero does is dialogue (have you heard the voice in the dub and sub???). Anyways you should tell me what anime you think has a really good story and I will compare it to re:zero and we can see how it stacks because I think you are being too critical on it expecting it to be perfect when no anime that is.

@@mcpodcast2699 I’d say something like goodbye, eri is what you would call quality story writing. Re-zero is generic isekai slop with an interesting gimmick. The only difference between re-zero and sword art online is that re-zero is more graphic. Im not trolling, but like I said I did some what enjoy the show when it played to its strength, which was its gimmick. Making an ultra violent multi-season groundhogs day anime is a pretty great idea, but if it’s not doing that there is literally zero separation between it and D tier generic slop. Poorly written characters, bad world building, abhorrent character design, redundant characters “arcs” if you can even call them that and this season in particular has had terrible pasing. Let’s not mention the creepy harem troupes involving a loli which is essentially when you boil it down Subarus only motivation. He’s like a kasuma lacking self awareness. He’s just straight up a shallow person but so is everyone else in the show because like I said, they’re all very poorly written.
