I believe they attack most sentient things if they think they could be a threat, maybe they just saw the droids as a potential enemy

@@stainedshirt1207 I guess. The danger about the blackwing virus was that it was itself sentient and smart, right? That's why when one zombie figured out how to use a blaster or blow open a door, the others could?

@@twilight_lupinesilva4691 I think so yea, the infected retain a bit of intelligence, and that’s how they can keep doing things they know how to do. Maybe they knew that the droids could tell others about the virus if they escaped, so they wanted to kill them.

@@stainedshirt1207 Or they thought that the droids could set the ship to self-destruct and incinerate them. If the ship is intact, the option for others to dock with it like that one prison ship remains. I really like the decision to focus on the droids here. So often they are neglected in favor of humanoid characters.

Is it because they may be edible to them in the book death troopers the zombies attacked waste, the medical droid on purpose or probably just in a rush for something

​@@LossOfSanityMayOccurWaste was medical droid in one of the Blackwing stories, the zeds recognised droids are a danger to them so they destroy them so they don't help survivors, basically shows even if they can't eat droids they're smart enough to recognise they're enemies

They do attack anything sentient

If it's not living organic tissue, the zombies generally leave it alone unless they see it as a threat.

@L.C.Studios thanks. I got to tell you. At first, I thought Disney was going to stick to the script with the expanded universe. But, when I saw the force awakens. I started to appreciate the expanded universe

@@AlfoidianChronicler1515 I like some of the Disney shows like Mando and Andor, but I agree, them changing the expanded universe into legends was a bad call. So many stories and characters for inspiration but they just set it aside😭. Love me some Old Republic as well!

@L.C.Studios well, they could have just made it into a dark forces movie and made andor into katarn. But, they could have also made andor into the main character of Rouge one by keeping the expanded universe as Canon. Since it is the expanded universe and the death star plans were split into different locations in legends or the real Canon. The mandolorian could have been in legends, and Disney could have just stuck with the timeline of the expanded universe with their own added summary

Read the book awhile back and always ended up wondering what/how the droids were doing during this outbreak to survive.
