Thinking of getting bung king for mine how are the rear ones. Does it protect the saddle bags?
Yes, they make a 6” durlin slider that goes past the OG bags. Does not protect aftermarket bags. Suggest getting a little grip tape as well if you plan to rider a passenger

Hey man does the jacket heated liner have a hood?
Hello, this jacket does not have a hood. I’m kinda torn on the hood personally. It’s a place for snow and rain to collect but if it’s thin hood like on rain gear you can keep uncomfortable rain from sneaking in. Hope this helps! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@nightowlrides ahh i see. I know the gen 2 liner has a hood that you can roll up(which would be nice if just wearing the jacket while not riding) so i didn't know if the same liner was included when you bought the jacket combo. Thank you for the information tho
Got the same air cleaner and getting some blow by. You experienced that at all on yours?
Yeah, unfortunately getting some as well. A riding buddy of mine suggested the track breather for the transmission. I’m considering that but currently the blow by isn’t too bad

Do you have a tune on your bike after the exhaust and intake? Or did you just run it?
Just ran it! But I am going to tune it this winter. After one season of running it no tune, I’m just now getting signs that it’s running rich. So Ji want to keep this setup in shape. More videos to come! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

looks good!!! I just got done doing mine after watching this video. Question, do you feel like your exhaust sticks out a little more now since you have to share a spot with the bracket and peg (I hope that makes sense)? I have slip on exhausts and I just feel like it was a tad bit harder to slide them back on after the install since it was pushing them back out a little bit. Like I had to push a little bit harder to get the heat shields aligned perfectly
I do t notice a big issue with the SPConcepts pipe I’m running but I will say that once you start sharing bolt on spots every needs a little extra love going back on. Or a soft hammer🤣. But for real keep everything super loose when you reinstall and the tighten each bolt slowly as you re align all the parts. It’s a pain but helps as you snug it all back up. Hope you like the pegs, I’m still rocking mine. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻🌜🦉
Awesome video man! It’s tough to tell but make sure you wrap that tape in the right direction so that tightening the bolt doesn’t loosen the tape. Also, I felt like I was watching Paul Rudd do a 3 hole change. Definitely subbing haha!

Great video, I did the same to my ST , with a different brand of bags. But my passenger peg were from Hog Workz and they work perfectly. Maybe look into those passenger pegs instead of the Bung Kings.

I love the look of these and I’ve been thinking about getting them but I’m curious about how grippy they are. Do you think they would be slippery if they get wet?
I can say with confidence that they work well in the rain! Got caught in a few downpours this summer and they felt the same. There is a nice pattern milled into the aluminum that makes the deck grip. Ride safe!🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

Exactly the reason I did not buy the ST. I just got the FXLRS. Notice how many off the ST unique things you're removing? For me the factory bags would be the first thing to go. After that, you have to wonder why spend at least $3K extra for the ST???
Yeah my saddle bag came off on the highway so I needed to make a move and I like the top load style bags better. Everything else about the ST is killer! I also rip around town with no bags so I like the options.
