Does anyone still play this game? I used to play on the PS3. Since I switched to the PS4, I have no DLCs. Even though I had 3 of them on the ps3 🥲 So if anyone would like to play the base game with me, I’m up for it 🙂

Imagine that, in Dead space 4 or something, the main character is Gabes son, now as an adult, who wants to destroy unitology and take down earth gov to avenge his father, seeking the help of Isaac and Carver.

Franco Delile was Dead Space: Ignition protagonist and was the one who freed Issac at the beginning of Dead Space 2 but got killed instantly. He wasn't super important but he was the one that freed Issac from the asylum for him to escape

I ain't a Dead Space Fan but i remember this being one of the saddest Deaths for a DLC protagonist 😢. We need more DLC PROTAGONISTS LIKE GABE

extremely controversial opinion from long time dead space fan: dead space 3 is still a great game. its not the best at being a dead space game but its still a great game. crafting mechanics and custom weapons carried it big time. the suits in it look fantastic. john carver is cool.legionary armor is fucking cool.

Dude could have easily lived through it if he shot the grenade guy instead of punching him, or well, if he already got blown up, COME ON, it's JUST a blown off leg! He still could easily survive with a basic ass tourniquet! Let alone with their future medical tech and medigel - plasma cut the stump (or don't), apply that stuff and a tourniquet or random wire to stop the bleeding, and you good!

I never forgot him, he has the best suit in the whole damn series.

I wish someone would be able to port this dlc to the pc, but that's never happening, because the console versions are formatted differently, making the porting process a nightmare.

If you think about it, lex actually suffered a fate worse than simply being gunned down. She was part of the marker test subjects along with stross and issac. She was drugged to keep the market imprints at bay. Add the fact she witnessed the death of her lover. the marker imprints will make her hallucinate gabe, slowly giving in to the marker and eventually driving her mad as it did to stross. So if you think about it too hard given the lore we know. gabe in fact gave her a fate worse than death.

How could you forget that amazing helmet?!? Wish we got that in the main game, but we just get a brown color pallet for the security suit 😢

People forget about all the Extraction crowd. I think it would be an interesting game to remake

If they do a remake of Dead space 2, they really need to develop this story in a better way, it has such a great potential and Gabe is such an amazing character. He didn't had to die in the DLC, maybe being crippled but not dead, he could have been a great addition in Dead space 3

I watched full complete of Dead Space Extraction around 3 years ago, the ending broke my heart. Never forgot about Gabe.

Dead Space 3 should’ve been about Isaac and Ellie helping Lexine keeping her free from EarthGov and the Unitologists whilst finding the homeworld of the marker or something like that. It just would’ve been great if they connected the plot lines together in the third instalment

They technically leave it ambiguous if he is truly dead or not so he could return.

I hope that if they remake DS2 make separate campigns for Gabe and for Vandel (from ds mobile that is actually pretty good) i really would love to see vandal´s hallucinations remade they were pretty cool and way cooler then the ones of DS2 if being honest

As badass as he is he was kinda stupid at the end there when he punched the guy the first time. He was already down and let go of him giving him just enough time to roll or jump out of the grenades radius but instead he goes in for two more punches and even picks the guy up to face him?

Gabe got the DAWG in him, bro painted the floor with the other guys face with 2 punches
