Say what you will about the W220. While it's understandable that it wasn't THE best S-Class ever, it's still way better than anything Mercedes-Benz offers today, in terms of S-Class. I don't care it doesn't have digital gauges or a bunch of screens or a great infotainment system, none of that. I'd rather have one of these than a brand-new S-Class, Maybach included.

I had this car, its a piece of shit crap. Nothing but problems problems problems. And an absolute money pit. It spent more time in the shop than driving it. If you like burning money, then yes go ahead buy this car.
