What is this called. A museum? Or art gallery?
@@Yakplanet_tv The place was a Youth Center outside of Tokyo that we rented for a corporate offsite. Is that what you mean?
What religion?
@@Spike_Yt_20 It’s a Shinto wedding.
ライスシャワーもブーケトスもケーキカットもない、ほんとに地味なんだけど、しみじみとした喜びがある。これが日本人の心だね。
Please change it to horror music because it scared the hell out of me the first time I saw the envelope 🙏
@@makurei6888 😂😂😂 I feel with you and kind of like the idea with the horror music. I’m not sure my cinematic skills are there yet and want to share things on a positive note as one can get used to it. Hope you’ve overcome your first horror, too!
The bride looks so beautiful, Japanese wedding is just so beautiful
Thank you so much! When sending mail to Japan from US, the postal clerk always asks me why the address is written backwards & what is the street..I never knew till now!!
@@armrugatewood9110 you are so welcome! And thanks for sharing your story. It’s always great to hear that the content shared was helpful.
Which temple is this. Please.
@@claudiakelly8084 Hi! It is the Meiji Jingu Shrine. This is their website www.meijijingu.or.jp/en/
It’s not temple. This is shrine. Name is Meiji jingu shrine which is in Tokyo,Shibuya.

Thank you for sharing an essential function of living in a property in Japan. I am planning to buy a holiday home in Japan and using it as and when I visit on a tourist visa. Do you know what I can pay my bills without a bank account and when I will be absent in Japan for 6 to 9 months? Appreciate any advice. Thank you.
Hi! Great plans you've got ahead for yourself. Some services like electricity and gas now have automatic online payment options available. However, I am not sure if they would accept an international account for payments. Also, when you buy you will have to pay certain taxes 2-3 times a year. So far I have only seen those as physical tax payslips. Maybe you can work with a property manager of some sort that also organizes these things for you. There is a Facebook Group called "Buying and Renovating a house in Japan". This or other groups might be of help. If I find out more, I'll add it to the comment.
Sometimes I copy an address to the Google Maps, but it cannot find it. What could be the reason. And how to work around it.
Have you tried all the obvious like input in English, input in Japanese? Checked all the spelling, incl. if the chome etc. is properly hyphened? If you can’t find the smallest unit right away I’d start trying to find the bigger units and the zoom in to see if you can find it. But sometimes it’s possible that a chome or building is not properly mapped. Want to share an example you couldn’t find?
Très doux à écouter merci beaucoup frero et sœur ❤❤
Merci :)
I thought they all were short
Thanks!
why so long
What’s long?
Thanks for giving me a sense of what it's like
You're welcome! That was my idea: Giving realistic and helpful impressions. :)
:) You definitely did
I really wish you didn't have the music in the background because I have to focus so hard to understand and the music is just distracting. 😅😂
Thank you for the feedback. 🙏 I’ll pay more attention to it next time and hope you were still able to learn something from the video.
Thank you. I just moved here. This was super helpful as I was hugely confused.
@Therealunconnected Welcome to Japan! It can be so confusing in the beginning… Give yourself time and ask for help. I do intercultural training and coaching. If you’re interested to find out more, let’s talk (contact@begloby.com)
Hello may i know the best days and time to attend the shrine to watch a wedding ?
Hello! The shrine hosts ceremonies in a time-honored fashion each day, from morning to evening. However, I am unfortunately not aware of a detailed schedule. We saw this wedding on a Saturday at 3.30pm.
It is held happpy days through japanese sinto calender from anciant days @@BeGloby
Thank you for adding this information. Is such a calendar available to see online and could you share a link? Even if just in Japanese.@@R.Sakurai
This was really useful! I'm planning to study abroad in Japan next year, so this video was a godsend! I'll probably be rewatching it constantly until I have the Japanese address system memorized😂!
How exciting for your possible semester in Japan! Happy this was helpful, and don't worry. I've been here for 6 years and still learning every day :)
That was just what i was looking for, so we don't get completely stranded over there when we visit later this year :D Thank you so much! It really makes much more sense when presented like this :)
So glad it was helpful. Anything else you’re looking to know before coming over? Wishing you a great trip already!
This was super helpful!! Thank you!
So glad to hear, thank you for the feedback!

Wow! Sehr schöner Blick aufs Meer
Oder!? Es gibt so viele tolle Strände und Küsten in Japan.
What if you are not able to pay it on the due date? Because that’s my problem now. I hope you can help
Hi Natskie, sorry to hear you ran into this problem. I've certainly been there. Here are a few ideas of what you can try: Check the envelope for all the different payment options and see if any of them would still work such as wire the money or credit card payment. You could also try paying at a post office, they are sometimes able to still process the bill. Lastly, you can call the provider and ask them to re-issue an invoice to be sent to your house or for a different form of payment. Hope this helps. Good luck!
What if you paid late? That’s my problem now. Hope you can help
Merci, Madike!
Very serene
Hi There.! What are all those bills if you don't mind sharing Electricity, Gas ???
Hi Brandon, electricity, gas, water & sewage, internet, mobile phone... You can set up direct debit or credit card payments for most of these things now but often the first 1 or 2 bills after moving in or the last one when moving out still has to be paid like that. You can also pay certain taxes like that. General interest or moving to Japan?
