no new videos? when are you getting back out on the water?
Just a heads up when you get to Schenectady New York lock your doors and roll your windows up the same with Amsterdam New York after(west) that you should be fine....
The escape hatch on your boat is looking a little rough...
Awesome!
Great motor……glad to see a new posting ….
Congratulations on the new motor I also have a Yamaha starts first time every time
New boat or just new outboard? Still looks like a Dory
SEI lower unit?
Made this same journey about 8 1/2 years ago. It was beautiful. I wish you had said where you left out from...
Great video, would be even better if the music was played a little lower.
On Navionics, EG Simmons is listed as a county park, not a state park.
We are leaving Tarpon in December on our c 25
I live across the bay from you, great accomplishment. Hope to.see your boat around
15$ a night with the federal park pass. Water, electric and hot showers. Nice!
Awesome journey! I live in Venice Florida and have been looking to find a C-Dory that I could Check out to see if that’s what I’d like to attempt the loop in. Maybe one day I’ll meet you in passing!
I was watching every video. Then you got to Chicago and saw trump's name on a bldg. Then you let your bias show. Good bye
Great stuff
Congrats for crossing your wake Captain. That is what many set out to do but fall short..... But you did it!!! I listened to your videos while riding home from work after I got off at 7AM. They kept me between the painted lines many mornings. Until your next adventure, may God bless you always my friend. 🙏
Thank all of you for your comment's it makes me hubble to know that a lot of Stanger have become like friends that just took me some time to find thank God bless be safe, am not done yet 😊
Thank you so much for putting up the end of your trip. Sorry about your friend. It is never easy to loose someone. I do hope that you will put up video about your new boat and how you are outfitting it. I have watched your videos of the Great Loop since you started. I bought my own 22' C-Dory in hopes of doing the same kind of adventure.
Thank you for the much anticipated closure of your trip. I'm looking forward to your next adventure. Rest easy Alfred. May his memory be eternal 🙏.
Thank you for posting the last in this series been waiting for it. Sorry for the loss of your friend i know what it's like just very suddenly list a very good friend of mine this week but we always hold them in our hearts
So Sorry to hear about you loosing your friend. It would have been nice to be able to present your Great loop flag to him. I'm sure his family greatly appreciates it. I'm guessing watching your adventure gave him something to look forward to and may have possibly given him more time before he passed. Thank you for sharing your adventure, God Bless You :)
You're Honored your friend very well! He is very proud of you. Congratulations on your Loop completion.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. You did a very nice tribute to him. Thank you so much for sharing this trip with all of us. I have so enjoyed watching each video and looked forward to seeing you post.
Whst happened to the last episode
We certainly live in Paradise thanks for sharing your adventures
The ruins of the redish "castle" was built in the early 20th century by a man that dealt in armaments in World War I. It was just a warehouse for storing that stuff. It was never a residence. It eventually did suffer an explosion that destroyed most of it. All that stands today are some of the walls.
I know that you are already finished the Loop by now, since when I do the Loop, I'll be doing it solo too. Very likely in either a C-Dory or a Sea Sport. I am intererested in seeing what the locks look like on the New York canal system. When it comes to lock heights, the lock you went through on the Erie is now far from being one of the largest locks in the world. On the Tenn-Tom Waterway heading southbound, the first lock a Looper will go through is the Jamie Whitten Lock and Dam located in Dennis, Ms at waterway milemarker 411.9 on the Left Descending Bank with a lift or descent of 84'. Prior to that one, on the Tennessee River, there are several locks that have drops of 50 feet or so. I think that on the Yangtze River in China, the lock connected to that massive dam has a drop/lift of a 100 feet or more. I hope that you enjoyed your trip. I've seen a few of your other videos too. I'll be checking out some of your other videos too.
Come on captain, lets finish this trip. Bring it to a close. This will be my last comment until we cross the finish line. Best,

I know it’s hard for you to find time, but let’s bring on that last video, finish the trip with us. One more to go. You showed me that the loop can be done in a c-dory. I have one on order. 26’. I hope to make the loop some day in the near future. Thanks for sharing!
