I have issues with this head unit crashing and reseting almost every drive. Also i need a better dab+ aerial the one it comes with is giving me little to no reception. Any ideas everyone

How did you connect the gauges

How long is the boot time to music? My 1007XR takes 20-25 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never counted but it does take a few seconds to get up & running.

Kenwood has an app. You might also have to change settings from android auto to mirroring

Hi thanks for the video. I just ordered one of these from Crutchfield for my 2019 Tundra. I had bought the 9907xr but then I saw your video (your initial video you made when you first got it) and I returned it and bought the 1057xr. One question I have is if you don’t want to split your screen with the widgets, can you turn those off? I’d rather have the full screen than split it all of the time with the widgets. Or is the split screen just on the Home Screen? Thx!

@@jasoncaine2600 I figured it out. This comment was a year ago lol. I can't get rid of the widgets on the home screen, but I just make the widget a Compass and it doesn't bother me. Other than that I love the 1057xr....it's incredible.

You need a physical hmdi cable. It connects to the back of the radio. The radio takes a mini hdmi cable. Regular sizes will be a tight fit, i mean TIGHT. I got mine drilled next to my shifter. Its a usb and hdmi port woth an hdmi end connected to the radio. Make sure you turn off wifi and blue tooth or itll have issues playing the hdmi.

What a BS video. I would never buy a trailer from these clowns. Rust on a new aluminum trailer? You couldn't see or remove it? No latch pin for the hitch and you're going to send them down the road with a nut and bolt? That's safe. Nobody made sure the wiring harness set up was correctly? And for god's sake, remove the face diaper hanging on your chin. Use it or lose it. Don't need the symbolism.
Not a clear/concise video review. The salesman isn't an expert on this trailer; doesn't project that he knows what he's doing. Do I see rust? Seems they could/should have made this trailer with the car wench enclosed/out of view and out of the weather. I don't like that the maker plasters their web site on the frame. That would have to come off. I refuse to be a rolling billboard for car/trailer dealers. You want me to do that, pay me. For all the hype behind Futura trailers.....I'm underwhelmed.

Yes, JVC is a Kenwood company and they make the head unit without the knob in the model JVC KW-Z1000W

We didn't try & we had it professionally installed.
You turn off bluetooth and wifi in order to use hdmi. You need an actual physical cable. Get a micro.
