First, Jack Sawyer is severely overrated so if you want to trade down and get that pass rusher who’s also very good in the run game as well, Princely Umanliemen is right there and has so much potential. What makes you say the team who was bottom 3 in sacks doesn’t need a pass rusher?

@panther_plugz I didn't say we don't need a pass rusher. What I said is we need someone who is capable of performing both at a high level. Carter is great at rushing but take a look at his performance against the run. He gets pushed around and bullied at times. I would prefer a guy that can do both.

@jeffreysarmiento5193 I see what you’re saying but that’s simply hard to see from any player coming out of college doing both at an elite level. Abdul is a generational pass rusher which means he’s coming into the nfl going to make his presence felt in that area and the way he plays the run game will come with time. If you want a guy that is solid at both, Princely is that guy right now but ofc isn’t “elite” yet

Jalon Walker is a Abdul Carter just not as polished and doesn’t have the tools that Abdul does I love Jalon. Watching Abdul, he’s one of the best edge prospects ever if I’m being honest.

If we ultimately did go WR, I wouldn’t be mad at all but I also think this defense class is crazy good and adding a mason graham or Abdul would go a long way to building the defense. And I don’t think this reciever class is ultimately that great compared to what we need and how good the defensive class is so TMAC is not a generational WR prospect imo

They need to go DT/Edge in the draft for sure. Bryce is only gonna get better on his own. The differences in him weeks 1 and 2 vs now wasn't by change in roster. Besides, between him and Chuba they can score 20+ points. Which is plenty if/when the defense can stop allowing 175 yards on the ground
