Looks like the current iRacing model has it pretty accurate, car looks slippery like its on ice just like in iRacing. Although I can see some turns here you can't take flat out but you can in game, and it seems a bit more likely to oversteer in real life than in iRacing. Other than that looks pretty accurate in the "feel" of the car. Although maybe these are different tires to those modelled in iRacing, different pressures, temps etc.Have you tried the skip in iRacing? How does it compare to real life?
That guy in the red car wasn’t giving you much space and forced you to back off a couple of times and if you didn’t it would have been contact or an off. Just shows though, the fastest isn’t the one who wins every lap.
These idiot corner workers need to shut up and focus on doing their job instead of commentating like they're commentators. I worked at 2 different racing schools for a season each and for the most part we only mentioned spins, crashes, damage, and when a car put a wheel off track. These guys are commenting about guys drafting, when a car passes another, about a good driver who is "a demon on the brakes," when cars go side by side, about "x" driver who dropped back to 4th place, when "the pack" is driving by, when a driver looses positions but hey he might re-pass on the next draft, and all sorts of bullshit. SHUT UP,! You are corner and safety workers, not Murray Walker commentators.
Yes, nice drive. Not the fastest car on the straights - probably on account of the camera on the roll-bar. Pretty competitive formulae. Clean too (don't expect the same in Europe if you come).
@@steveduerr6367 Sadly, it is now a drift car for most. Plus, we race on tracks this American Series never would have raced on. I see the tendency in this actual race which iRacing got correct and that is the lack of front grip at times. However, we are able to adjust the car to our liking to make it more realistic, but, you will get beat by the drifters because there isn't any penalty for overheating the tires currently.

You know that you're not supposed to rest your shifting hand on the shift knob? Dangerous for a few reasons. Great race though, it was really fun to watch!

No clutch on downshifts? I may or may have not but definitely did that sometimes. Lol

Great race! Only thing that could make this better is if you could commentate over your driving, ie. talking us through moves you make, decisions etc.
