Some companies use wheat starch which is safe for celiac & gluten intolerant but not those with wheat allergies. Schar makes some of their things with wheat starch & some King Arthur has it in some of their gluten free products. I have no issue because I don't have a wheat allergy.

I made these using Dot jellies but cut them in half with kitchen shears. They mixed in the nougat better imo.

I made these last year and they were delicious! Any tips on keeping the caramel mixture from melting too quickly on the tray while waiting to dip them? When I take them out of the freezer, they melt so quickly before I can dip them.

,Hello, Suzanne... Thank you for the comparison test! I'm a long time GF-er and also use Bob's red Mill regularly. I do have to agree on the King Arthur choice! You might want to look at Divided Sunset (walmart!!) or Cup4Cup brand ( A bit more expensive, but worth it for special baking...) TJust an FYI, Suzanne -the Krusteaz flour does NOT contain wheat. The note on the package says, " REPLACES wheat flour 1:1" and says it is wheat flavored, and those comments are misleading! but the ingredients list doesn't show any wheat nor does the website description. Hopefully your DIL didn't get sick! -

I have frozen it after it's been thawed to a liquid and it works perfectly. Im in love with this stuff
