My tips for aero rig user's that wanna be those epic solo everything with an aerorig is that... dont rely on it too much, the aerorig is only useful for infantry clearing and movement, it shouldnt be your go to option for everything use your gunslinger.

As someone who only uses aerorig to kill, i dont recommend going for platforms and tanks leave that for ur teammates or if you have get a shockwave device or rpg. Aerorig is really for infantry and troops, the vehicles and apus just use explosives, faster more efficient and safer. As for bosses, again depends on the boss, if the boss is slow u can use the aerorig to deal heavy damage. But if ur dealing with sparta or Hermes use the aerorig to bail out of sticky situations. If the bosses are like tempest just don't.

you can grapple on to a enemy then move slightly to the right or the left when your coming towards them so instead of you touching the place where you grappled and stopping you keep moving forward
