A non-backlit keyboard cannot be directly changed to have a backlight, as it lacks the necessary hardware; to add lighting to a non-backlit keyboard, you would need to either buy a separate LED light to shine on the keys or consider replacing the keyboard with a backlit one, which would likely involve disassembling your device and potentially requiring technical expertise.
The keyboard light allows you to use the computer when the lighting condition is not ideal.
This document describes how to identify if the system is configured with a keyboard backlight and if so, how to turn the light on or off.

    To know if it works use a thicker paper. Most compatible pressure roller cannot conduct the heat on them. Its hard to find a good pressure roller that is guaranteed to work. Ive tried many and no sucess.

    Same problem with hp elite x2 1012 g2 did you also have a problem with a touchscreen that does not respond and with pressure points on the screen due to the battery?

      the problem was the defective screen display and touchboard and with the touch screen cable broken. I sold the tablet as a mini pc using a 3 in 1 power+hdmi+usb hub, I had problems with the tablet which started having big problems since it arrived home

    The battery of my laptop is swollen, I’ve been told not to turn it on anymore as there’s risk of fire. It’s difficult to find a replacement for the exact model, I’ve also been told that by removing the swollen battery the risk of fire disappears but I will only be able to work on the laptop with the power cord plugged into an outlet, is this true?

    This used to work, but now for some reason it doesn't want to accept the reset, after pressing up it does nothing, I was able only to reset the black but none of my color cartridges
