I was also thinking before that the exit of public shorts was a good thing, marked by the available shares, low utilization, and repo style usage of available shares. but now after watching these videos, I'm thinking no bueno. If MM is the only counterparty to public call buyers, then we will never get a set of strikes that could ramp the underlying into the thousands. I think it was public longs replacing the MM as counterparty and by doing so unleashed waaaaaaay more contracts at strikes the MM probably would have never listed. Tell me if I'm way off please.

They don't have to have any communication between arms. They just need to teach their staff about what is good for the goose....

Great stuff! What's your opinion on the lend pool shares being borrowed then replaced? R.Newton touches on it, perhaps the shares are used as locates, then returned to be borrowed by another party, either in organized concert or just one of common desires. Another theory is that this relates to the timings of the CAT audits. It occurred to me that maybe the bulls should be competing for that lend pool -- can't we borrow those shares and then just sit on them? It would be like DRSing the lend pool.

Would you consider doing an intro to options for newbies; a lot of the terminology simply goes over my head.

I believe the thumper is referring to the chart indicators that look like worms. Spiking the chart up allowed the indicators to all start to come to the surface and cross over each other. This would also explain the tweet immediately after of John McEnroe saying "It was on the line!" -- the line being the MA/EMA indicators and how the price uses them as support rather than resistance in our new uptrend.

I'm loading 17 April $20 calls. Cost about $1.50 in extrinsic. Option Currently around $10.50 each. I feel like it is a pretty good balance of risk and getting about 2.75x leverage. Obviously delta exposed if we see a reversal. I am DCA'ing into the position in case we do see that downtrend.

The SI and SV and CTB are nowhere near 2021 levels. I don’t understand how the comparison keeps being made.

Also I don’t know how closely you’re watching the market, but I sense extreme fear starting to spread across risk assets along with so many charts being ripe for a pullback. Be it high flying tech stocks, meme coins or btc they’re all getting a lot of selling pressure and bulls look to be running out of buying pressure. I worry GME will be temporarily swept down with them. Who knows though, I can also see the market bullish on CPI tomorrow and we hold the 3-4% gains made on earnings.

Unfortunately I don’t think this AH action means much. I see us getting walked down to mid $24 into the end of the week or early next based on my charting.

Ya and thank you too. Completely concur with your outlook. It is currently 8:20 est and AH it just popped up to28.36 for some reason. Waiting patiently for it to drop after earning tomorrow and then load up. I too am waiting for some kind of pop just before Christmas. But....we all know that GME can be completely unpredictable.
