We recently bought a house that is in need of renovation. The house is located in the province of Asti in Piemonte (Piedmont) in northern Italy. It is a 4 bedroomed house with approximately 2.5 ha of land, comprising mostly woodland. The previous owners have extended it, but not completed the works - that was possibly 15 years or more ago. The house hasn't been lived in since. Whilst the house is generally is very good structurally, there remains a lot of renovation work to be done to turn the house into our home. This won't be a quick job - but rather it will be a long renovation journey, and this channel will document that journey.

Removing Shrub Stumps with a Reciprocating Saw
We have to clear space in the garden for delivery trucks that will deliver building materials to our house. First on the list of jobs is to clear the parking and turning area of the self-seeded trees and shrubs. We've already cut down the trees and shrubs and now we're left with the stumps - so we have to clear the stumps.
In this video I demonstrate how to remove a shrub stump using a reciprocating saw.
