Oh, this is really good. Great sound, unmistakably Numanesque. Really well done.
Any chance on a demo on how you built the sounds?

A few friends had this Entex machine! Always wanted one. Ended up with Astro Wars in 1981, wasn't complaining. Love these old games!
Where can I find your parts
I had a yellow one back in 1990 - loved it, slow though it was!
I had yellow one ☝️
I had the last one, but it was called Astro Wars in the U.K.. I loved it, and pretty good.
Cool! I got the Entex PacMan2 when it first came out, it was 4 times more expensive at time then most other satisfied handhelds! I remember taking the Blip apart, just to see it worked as it was mechanical. And Split Second was super adcitve: game 5 & 8 got a lot of play time on mine; however, game 7 on Split Second was my favorite! I also had the Pocket Simon & took it apart to discover it contained a 4-bit TMS1000 microprocessor.
It's funny still today video games are still more entertaining than school...lol
Wow. You have some of the things I got for Christmas back in the day. Blip was the first one and started on my journey of being obsessed with this stuff. I got that Star Bird toy as well one year, but it was the Intruder version. I had forgotten all about that thing! ...wow... I also Got Split Second one year (I played a demo model in a store every other day, and begged my folks for it). I had Invader from Space too, but that one I bought on my own. I made some money mowing lawns and I remember taking two very long bus rides one day to a place that was selling it. I took it apart and played with it outside of it's casing at one point... I was into deconstruction and figuring out how things worked... I lost that stuff over the years, but went on eBay recently though and bought them again.
Jason Turner wow great story it feels good to own them all again, I recall the excitement on Christmas and boxing day playing these things to death and driving my parents mad with the noise...happy days though.
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
I did own some sort of really small handheld LCD clown juggler game in middle school that was pretty fun, That was a few years later, around 1979 or 80 I believe. Took a watch battery!
I think I owned Blip, or knew someone who had one, and god it sucked! So loud and clunky and annoying. Ah well. Much better was a bit later we knew someone who had a full multi-game real arcade coinop Pong cabinet in their finished basement rec room, so I recall having fun playing Pong Hockey and such at whoever this was's house around 1978 or so. I also recall someone lending me their handheld Redline speedway game at lunch in grade school, and I couldn't figure out what to do with it. Shifting? Ok. There was no screen just noises so it was absurd.
These games were incredibly noisy back then. I think they purposely left out a mute function so that we wouldn't be playing these during class.
forgot how loud Blip was
Kevin Pippin yes as you can see my reflexes aren't the best. LOL.
my favorite was galaxy Command,Bankshot, and Tron
Beautiful.
any tips where i can buy a engine
I played the cueball and astro wars games as a kid while visiting grandparents. Sweet memories!

I loved Astro Wars.
i started out on one of these. did a few long distance rallies on it. one of my best bikes i ever owned.
Ade nice one ade, this bike started me on a lifelong love of everything two wheeled, and I owe a great debt to it, mind you, going on a rally is very brave mine tops out at31mph, mind you I am 15 stone Lol
the longest run I did on my zr50 (the piglet) was from Birmingham to dover to chatham. next day was chatham to Upminster. end of weekend was Upminster back home to Birmingham. 35mph flat out. best journey I ever done.
I have the same moped right now with 70cc and a 16mm carb, i still have the 50cc cilinder. but it is not very clever to start that moped in your house, because of the smell
Waar kan je die 70cc kopen voor de ZR50 en hoe kan je zien of het past?
I had the exact same bike in 1993. loved it and still miss it
Loved seeing the Cue Ball again. I had one around 1978 or 1979. Got it for Christmas. Hours of fun. Note: When shooting hold the shoot key down longer for harder cue shots. Thanks again for the memories since my Mom gave all our old games away many years ago when we left home.
Martin Hamilton same here m8 and I'm 49
Wow what a flashback! These are the games I grew up playing. Kids today would never have the attention span to play any of these analog games. I'm surprised by your collection and they're all in good condition.
I do. I'm 11 and I have a whole collection of vintage consoles/handhelds.
Im 14 and i LOVE old games
You'd be surprised.

@vanillacoffee Hey Thanks a lot, it is kind of a revelation if you manage to put this patch in your sampler and use it, but I do find it gets a bit ragged at the lower octaves.
Great effort. Recently had a try and uploaded this one myself, not as easy as it sounds to cover. Great job.
Lord knows how I missed this. Fantastic cover, beautiful use of the vstream patch. I was in heaven when I first installed that patch on my keyboard. Best wishes - more please...!
Very very nice sounds & well done! Keep em coming my friend?
