Just add whatever dimensions you want to the drawing. What a shitty video ;(
Where can we get the part file
You don't have to add chamfers during the sketch phase for the base plate. You can do 3D-shamfer later on after extruding the base plate. This way, some additional dimensions can be avoided, saving time for the rest of the exam.
Hi, I got a mass of 1128.01 grams. Is this a normal deviation?
Hi, may I know what mechanical parts is this ?
Hi, this part is specifically designed for CSWA practice. It’s not meant to represent a real mechanical part but helps develop SolidWorks modeling skills.
There are many errors in the solution of CSW exam Practice Package. For example, for this question, I get 265.89, 302.86, and 441.67 grams for Parts A, B, and C, respectively. Apparently, the answer keys for Parts B and C are wrong in the solution. I found the same issues in other questions.
300 gr ?
I've been comparing everything for an hour now and idk why my mass is 388.08 grams ;-;
I appreciate you, man.
I knew I wasn't crazy! The answer key in my PDF for C is wrong, listing the answer as 57.67 g. Thank you for putting my mind at ease.
Anytime , Glad I could help clear that up.
I think there is a mistake in the 9.6 dimension, not you I mean in the original exam
Thanks for pointing that out! There might be a mistake in the original exam, but the main focus here is understanding the techniques and organizing steps to get a perfect result with the fewest steps possible.
Nice work man
thank you.
thx for lesson
U R welcome
Where is the mass
Very good 👍
Thank you ❤️
This guy's model is wrong as some of you might of already noticed as the final distance between the center of the circle and the middle point of the line is not 20mm. This is due to the added 4mm thickness on top of the base triangle that he made in "6:06". To fix it, instead of putting 20mm at "4:01" put 26.81mm as the distance, follow the rest of the steps and it should be right.
Super confusing. What made you put the 13 and 15.5 on the right? Nowhere on the drawing does it state those dimensions. Nor the 38.
I have the same question, without that dimensions its not possible to get the answer right..
please help with this.
why do you put 12 for the second extrude?
1mm gap for the fillet
that is very well bro i was really stucking in these problems but you make super easy for me without saying single word you are amazing yo! Thank you very much!!
You are welcome, thank you for your comment it’s supporting me to continue uploading soon
I got the same result as you!! Thank you and great video!!!
Awesome! Thank you.
Hello, the mass in the exercise is 1127.72, and you have 1127.78 . I also have this problem more often always a comma difference
38mm?
Thanks a lot! How can i contact you to get the parts to create the assemblies?
Thank you for reaching out! You can find the parts for the assemblies by contacting me on Telegram. My username is (cad_designO). Feel free to reach out and I'll send you the files.
Can you tell me where can I find the parts? Is there a link available?
maybe you shouldn't put 38mm in there as no one would guess that and it doesn't say in the question
A video for Section I Problem 8 Please 😊
Subiras mas figuras?
Is there enough information on this drawing? Wouldn't you need the lengths of the straight sections at the "open clasp" area to accurately complete this model?
i was wondering if we need to make the parts for the exam. A lot of practice exams I've come across tell me to manually create each part. Is the actual exam like this?? Thank you!
In the CSWA exam, you're provided with parts, and your task is to add relations and determine the center of mass. So, no need to create parts from scratch. Good luck with your preparation!
hey hi can u help me for this to find mass values of these solid works
Indeed, I can assist you further with your SolidWorks inquiry. For more efficient communication, please reach out to me on my Telegram channel '@cad_designO'. Looking forward to providing assistance.
The most retarded way to go about drawing this part
Super, thanks for work👍
Welcome 👍
The material wasn't chosen correctly either
If it was useful to anyone the mass for me is 637.05 grams but the solution is 636.48 grams, I don't know if it's my mistake or a different approximation of the solution.
I found exactly the same as you..
Same here
what is the mass of this part?
The mass for me is 1453.42 grams
@@lucam8977 Same here
@@MazinSaeed-e9o Good to know the actual solution! There are so many mistakes in the example solutions. I was so confused!
@@lucam8977 I get the same mass as you did. However, the solution has specified 1458.68 g as the mass. I double-checked and couldn't find anything wrong with mine. Is this magnitude of error acceptable?
sec g problem 4?
Clean work 👌💯💯❤️🔥
Thanks 💯
Hi, I would like to know if is the same mass like the example?
Hi, the mass for me is 128.03 grams
Correct mass! For more info, hit me up on Telegram. I'll be happy to assist with any additional questions
What is the instructor material? I've headache because of 38mm dimension
Hi, for me the dimension 38 is wrong, if you align the center 2.5 mm and 5 mm orizontally, the sketch is totally defined without using 38 mm and for me that dimension result (from the other dimension) 37.97. The mass for the first case for me is 102.81 grams and I think is in tolerance.
you haven't chamfered the part
Sorry mate but I am sure that you made a mistake on the lenght of the parts. Could you check it once again, or maybe I am wront to let me know. Why did you put 91mm instead of 109mm? Very begining of the clip. (Variable A) Good clip BTW
can you make a video by changing equations as i have trouble getting answer after changing the variables value
Did u find a solution for this?
@@duniasyyes check the solution given by solidworks you will find the correct answers
Is there any way you can make a video for “section F- Problem 3”

Speedy work! But does extruding the top surface by 4mm not decrease the 20mm gap to 16mm?
That was my exact thought.
You are missing a dimension (6.50mm) near the bottom of the piece.
Buddy, your measurement from the edge of the wedge to the center of the semi-circle slot is not 20mm. You are doing this incorrectly!
