A comparison/contrast of the God speaking the Ten Commandments from Mount Sinai with the Christ (the incarnate God) giving the Sermon of the Mount. Starts out with a comparison of Close Encounters of the Third Kind with the giving of the Ten Commandments. It's pretty clear that Spielberg was heavily influenced by Ten Commandments event as that parallels are uncanny.
