PCVR titles like fallout 4 and Hitman are trash, My Headset is used for VR Launch titles like Robo recall, Blade and Sorcery, and Underdogs. Outside of the walking dead game, i dont think ANY vr titles are worth purchasing. Even beatsaber has a bad model.
The games is amazing if your patient
Sounds like y'all never played the first game
I played dark arisen and dude this game fails on everything a sequel should be doing. No improvements less creatures, and no eternal farrystone.
Yes its that bad, never trusting Capcom ever again. All those lies for 12 years and this is the "true" vision? What a joke.
I am level 160 on my 8th playthrough. Love this game.
thats crazy haha but i respect it!
I'm a 101 hours in and still pick it up from time to time just like I do with Rdr2, Zelda BOTW/TOTK, Baldurs Gate, Cyber Punk or Elden Ring. None of these games are anything alike, however the open world aspect is just a beautiful trip that'll never fail to amaze me. But let's be real, Black Myth: Wukong and Shadow of the Erdtree deserves all of the accolades this year.
Thank you for the review! ❤ Happy you though FRANK was more fun than annoying 😹 10/10?! THANK YOU!
@@angrydemonstudio cant wait for your next game!
Honestly, I can't understand why there's so much hate for the game. I've played for several hours, reached level 50, and I can say that the game is okay. It has a good combat system, a nice world, and somewhat interesting quests. The only negative I see is that there isn't a lot of variety in enemies, and the main missions are weak. But I really can't understand why there's so much hate and all these negative reviews.
The DLCs aren't needed. And they're NOT a paywall. all items are easily available ingame. You didn't have played the game long enough, to realy judge about the pawns imho. 15 hours is way too short for that. But they WILL learn! Just have some patience. You CAN NOT!!!! compare BG 3 with DD II!!!. You just CAN NOT!. BG 3 is a full RPG, while DD II is an ACTION RPG, with focus on ACTION. The story of DD II is mid. (it also was mid in DDDA, btw.) But the game isn't about the story, it's about the GAMEPLAY. Fast travel is good as it is. The Travel points are just destinations. The item can be used ANY TIME in an open area. (even at lightings in caves.) AND you'll get Port CRYSTALS, which you can set anywhere you want (even in caves afaik. Although didn't try that, yet. This wasn't possible in DDDA, btw.) One of them is buyable as DLC That's the only DLC-item, that might worth it. (JUST one) the rest will be aquired ingame eventually. A maximum of 10 mobile port crystals can be set (as in DDDA.) Walking is worth it. By fighting trash mobs, you'll get much more DP (discipline points - to learn new abiltiies.), than when you fight big bosses. Most dungeons in the game are actually CAVES, I admit that. BUT there are 1-3 dungeons, which are a bit bigger. (this was also the case in the first game, btw. The only significant dungeon out of BBI was the catacombs.) You need to explore. The limited fast travel is there, to force this. And it will be worth it some times. (Rare gear, you can find, is just that RARE!) And there are still the oxcarts, btw. The pawns don't have any indiviudual story, that's right. But that's also LORE... Pawns ARE NOT humans or beastren. They don't have a free will. But they certainly have personalities. (in this game, this is called "inclination".) The pawns can - and will - get you on the nerves! But this is a trademark of this game. And they're much more useful than you first might think. The pawns serve as quest-guides. Instead of just activating a ghostly waymarker (or magical one, or something similar), you need a pawn with questknowledge. And then it can - and will - lead you to the most significant destination of your active quest. Nothing more. You need to find out the rest yourself. The four commands for the pawns - btw. - are enough. The "go" command is context-sensitive. If a pawn speaks to you, that it knows a cave or tresure-chest-destination nearby, hit the "go"-command, and it will lead you there. Your pawn will know Bathal and complete Vermund as the back of its hand eventually. If it speaks to you, you need to talk to them directly. Then you can select, that you need a guide, and you will have several opportuinites, where the pawn can lead you. (This could be a bit more optimized,, though. I must admit, that sometimes, it's just useless, because the pawn will suggest to lead you to a campsite... just the one, where you were 2 minutes before...) Your judge of 7 of 10 is okay imho. There are better allrounder-RPGs out there. And there are better Story-RPGs out there (And BG 3, although I didn't play it yet, is one of those.). But I think, both DD-games are one of the best Action-RPGs in third person-perspective. And certainly the best party-based Action-RPGs in the world. Only Gameplay-wise, nothing more. And the pawn-system is just awesome, if you know how to use them. (in both games, btw.) If you continue to play the game, you might discover, that NOTHING is without a purpose in this game. Not even spending around in the tavern... But these are details. And a lot of them are tiny details.
Who hates it?
there are 40k negative reviews on steam, a ton of negative reviews on youtube and when it released social media was full of people shitting on the game.
@@blue-guy333 same goes for EVERY GAME. Dumb news.... same as "People want to cancel Eminem" or "you wont believe what this person did...." DD2 made plenty of sales and is loved by way more people than disliked.
@@klevas17 "way more people" is a bit of a stretch it has mixed reviews and thats a fact bro the game is fine 7/10 for me but your argument is kind of silly and i dont know how it relates to what i said. noone is invalidating you you can enjoy the game say its a 10/10 best game ever but most people dont feel like that. and its fine for them to critique it. can you try to explain your argument since i really dont understand what you were talking about
@@blue-guy333 in the last few years i see a tendency of videos being made just to blow something out of proportion. Canceling or hating on something after a few comments, or saying that many people feal in certain way and as a reference take a post with 12 likes. I watched a few revievs of DD2 and shure, there are some critiques and they are deserved, but all of them had a great time playing and recomend it to others. Also some complaints are like when people complain abaut Dark souls for being too hard... Its a diferent game, end game does not actualy matter here, fast travel would make it so mutch wors etc.
As a huge fan of DD1 put so many hours into it. I've come to gather that DD2 is just DD1 but worse, I've seen the ending and yes its the same ending again. Also yeah I forgot the dodgy English accents in the first were far better than the voice acting on this one.
It’s a single player game I don’t see why micro transactions matter though…The game is perfectly fine to me. I like the adventure of traveling on foot
thats fair, whats your favorite class? i played as a mage/sorcerer and travelling on foot was kind of a pain for me. would be cool to hear your opinion on it maybe im doing something wrong. thanks for watching!
the main problem if you dont know cause not played in the 1st game is how many of thing just reused! the 90% of classes just the same classes while even the 65% of the map is the same... not to mention some classes deffinitly stronger than the other like the warrior easily the strongest while mage one of the weakest. the trickster looks fun at first but totaly useless if you use it... and pawns cannot use it...
oh i never played the first dragons dogma didnt know that! i basically went in with 0 knowledge and picked mage and sofar its been a pain i love how all the spells work but the cast time is just terrible. i also wish we could ride a horse or something to make traversal easier its a pain to walk everywhere. would you say the first dragons dogma is a better game?
@@blue-guy333 well i would not say because have the same mistakes! In fact you even could not use any fast traveling over a year but the players wrote many negative critic and then we got the “fast travel” system… Yes also the walking speed still horrible! Too much time spend just to walking and especially if you die then can start at the beginning! Both game have essential issues and I not talking about low performance or graphic… You have the climbing system but many time just too slow and problematic… The ragdoll effect a bit too much when jumping and moving Lack of companion and their story and yes pawns are fuking irritating… And also a multiplayer would be a good idea where can go with 2-3 another player even with story and just adventuring instead of pawns! The game looks like someone dreamed something but had no talent and sense to made to a video game!
lies.
Yes I agree with you on your review. The performance is terrible for a big budget game in 2024. I'm disappointed.
well done mate, words cannot describe how briliant is this game is.. timless piece of art ❤
Honestly, microtransactions aren't that big of a problem to me. You don't have to purchase anything. It's optional. Ferrystones, you can acquire in the game itself, although admittedly, they're not super easy to come by. The original game fixed that issue by giving you an Eternal Ferrystone, and how and when you use your Ferrystones is up to the player's preferences. Some players just want to go from A to B immediately, but others, like myself, don't mind walking there. This approach varies and depends on my mood, however, so having Ferrystones readily available is certainly preferable. But it's not a problem, since I hardly ever run out of Ferrystones. And you make plenty of in-game money to consistently purchase Ferrystones. Moreover, the end-game gives you dozens of Ferrystones, if you just spend some time wandering about. So the option to buy them with real money is probably just for impatient players who can't be bothered to take the time to actually play the game. Monocles or whatever are insignificant anyway. It's a non-issue to me, and always has been (in terms of Dragon's Dogma 2, at least). Another thing about this whole fast-travel business is that, as big as the map is; it's really not that gigantic as people make it out to be. There might be a lot of hold-up along the way, due to enemies, but there's ways of dealing with that, and moving from A to B; even when that distance initially seems long, doesn't actually take that much time or effort. This game's kinda designed around the idea of physically traveling the map like that in the first place. I understand that when you've just trekked all the way from one end of the map to another, and now you immediately have to go all the way back; you might not feel inclined to once again go for this lengthy walk. That does happen in the game, especially in regards to certain missions. That's certainly not ideal, and it can be daunting and exhausting. In those cases it's better to fast-travel. But you can do that. Ox-carts exists, and sure they don't cover the whole map, and you risk having to fight enemies along the way, and the same applies to the rope-system (forgot how it's called), but then there's an option to place Portcrystals. You know what? I typically don't even end up placing ALL of the Portcrystals I have in my possession. I found out where the best locations were to put them down, and it turns out I don't really need to use all of them. But I've played the original DD for over a decade, so this whole system, I felt familiar with, and learned to accept it for what it is. Just teleporting around the map from location to location; mission to mission: that wasn't how I used to play the original game, except for when I was doing speedruns. Having said that, the Assassin vocation in DD:DA had options that allowed you to run much faster and longer, which DD2 doesn't have.
@@XaeeD this is a bit of a long comment hope you dont mind! my main gripe with traversal is that sometimes youre stuck 50% of the way, it happened a couple of times im on my way to melve to deliver a letter or somet and i cant find the oxcart to get there so on the way there i have to fight atleast 2 bosses in my way with half a health bar because theres a group of monsters every 10 steps. And playing as a mage made me loathe the pawns first off they treat you like a little kid then they decide to take me somewhere even tho i never asked or approved them my pawns just go hey ill take you to this place i say come to me they ignore it another pawn says 'lead the way' like why are they suggesting and doing things that i never approved of its so annoying. But the worst part of companions is how shitty their ai is i play as a mage/sorcerer and 9/10 my companions will be 100 feet behind me when a fight starts i always get focused and need to run back to them and hope they wont be useless. And the fact you can get soft locked on your way there because everytime you die you lose health so instead of being able to fight a hard boss itll get more pointless to try everytime you die. Isnt that the point of a boss? To die and learn how to fight them? Why are you making it harder for me if i couldnt beat him at full life? I think its funny that they advertised traversal and exploration being innovative and engaging when its the exact opposite of that imo
@@blue-guy333 Hmm, I can't really relate to that, because I don't play as a Mage. I tend to use Archer or Mystic Spearhand, but for the most part I'm a Wayfarer (because I can wear whatever I want to wear, and for the obvious reason of being able to switch between Weapons). My Pawn can be whatever I want her to be, but she's mostly an Archer or a Mage. But I don't really need Pawns. I can roam the world by myself; alone, no problem. I hardly ever die. Even when I have a party of three Pawns, I'll command them to wait and I'll go ahead and engage enemies on my own; just for fun. So your problem of getting killed by enemies has to do with the Mage vocation. As a Mage you're going to have to rely heavily on your Pawns. You know, in the first game, having a Mage around was absolutely pointless. I never hired Mage Pawns. They were more of a nuissance than an addition. When using Mystic Spearhand or Wayfarer, you can very easily walk around solo, because the game's actually not hard at all, imo. As to this: "they decide to take me somewhere even tho i never asked or approved them my pawns just go hey ill take you to this place i say come to me they ignore it another pawn says 'lead the way' like why are they suggesting and doing things that i never approved of" That's because you do approve of it. They're doing that because in your menu, you have locked in on a specific mission. So everytime you tell them to "GO!", they'll automatically think you want them to show you the way to said mission. Just go to the menu and make sure you're not locked in on any mission. If you don't have a mission selected (to play), then your Pawns stop trying to guide you. "But the worst part of companions is how shitty their ai is i play as a mage/sorcerer and 9/10 my companions will be 100 feet behind me" Weird, I never really have that problem. I don't really select Sorcerer Pawns, because they're a bit OP, and I dislike some of the sh!t they throw on screen. Also, I don't actually need them for the vast majority of encounters, as I can dispatch enemies fairly quickly without their aid. My Pawns tend to function properly, I have to say. Maybe you should pay close attention to a Pawn's stats and powers and all of that, before hiring them..? Not sure why your Pawns are always lagging behind, though. Often times, when encountering enemies, I just let my Pawns deal with it while I hang back and watch them work. Kind of the opposite of your experiences. Makes you feel like a boss, too, like these enemies are beneath me; my Pawns can handle you lot. I think that you should try out different Vocations. Mage is a support vocation, essentially, and the Mage in a Party really shouldn't be up front; engaging enemies first while the other members are still lagging behind. Up front, you'd want a Fighter or a Thief, you know?
Im begin play two days ago for me that game its just a ok game
i agree there are many things i dislike, one tip if youre going on a long journey make sure to stock up on healing and rest at an inn. i was stuck in the wild for 2 hours because i had 1 hp and then i had to reload back to a 2 hour old save lol
The game gets alot of hate because of the performance issues and the dlc
true, what did you think of the game? were the dlc and performance an issue for you?
@blue-guy333 performance was only an issue on my pc but when I tried it on a ps5 it worked great and the dlc isn't really a problem for me cause you can still get this stuff just takes a while
This game ❤😢😭😭
Good luck my brother! Hope you make it ❤
Thank you, i appreciate the support my brother!
Hey dude, equalize your volume, that part at 11:31 blasted on my speakers, make sure your volume maintains within a certain range when editing, videos with unnormalized volume are extremely annoying cool run aside from that

I also like how Witcher is very Slavic(specifically Polish) since there isn’t many games that are, most of them are Asian. In the heart of stones there is so many references to Polish culture even the story of the dlc is even based on a Polish legend.

@blue-guy333 Wait for a free fly event to try it so you don't spend a penny on it. If you do want to try it before a free fly, just get the base pack £50ish. Be sure to have it installed on an ssd and expect lots and lots of bugs. Do keep in mind that it's a very glorified tech demo at the moment. It might scratch an itch, maybe not, but hey, it would be good content on your end and bonus points if you like it to the point you think they earned your money. Hope to see your thoughts on it soon :)

It's probably shareholders wanting guaranteed profit so game companies go the safe route and make bland games and not try something that people might not like
I actually enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy. I found it quite charming.
well yeah as a harry potter fan its pretty neat but it felt like a really generic rpg and the story was also just meh imo
Guys i saw the Comments! Sorry that my Thumbnail caused some Confusion, i updated it and i hope it's better now! thank you all for the feedback and the support!
You put…Hogwarts Legacy? That game was really really well received and was the best selling game of the year. Why is that in the thumbnail?
because its a good example it could have been a great harry potter game, but then they added all the unnecessary rpg stuff to get a bigger audience. it was just another AAA 3rd person action rpg. Yes it was succesful but thats because it had the harry potter name on it. Its not all bad i liked sebastians story and exploring hogwarts was cool and seeing hogsmead was neat. and i can understand if you loved it its just my opinion and thats why i put it in the thumbnail, and either way no matter which game i put in the thumbnail someone wont agree lol
Almost all of those games in the thumbnail were successful. GTA is still top 5 most played on Xbox and PlayStation
thats not the point
Your stating things most gamers don’t see a problem with and if they did it would have a reflection on the sales of these games. How much a game cost really doesn’t matter because they’re both good and bad examples of games with big budgets. And besides any era of video games doesn’t last forever, these are just the current trends. You and others are bored of them and many people are not.
i think i explained myself pretty well, these things matter because it affects the industry not the player so it would make sense that you dont care since youre not a triple a game studio. recently there have been alot of AAA Games that flopped, this means they cant sustain these 200M dollar budgets which leads to studios closing and less games getting developed.
@@blue-guy333 True, the industry affects us as players indirectly, but focusing solely on a game's budget doesn't guarantee the lvl of quality or innovation. Studios closing is unfortunate, but it's also a part of industry evolution-new ones emerge with fresh ideas. Plus, a game's success isn't just about its budget, but how well it connects with its audience.
hey i agree you make some good points. my logic for the solution was that if developers had a smaller budget there would also be less stress to make a masterpiece and therefore more freedom for their creativity. you are right tho time will pass and the next generation will come im wondering where they go from here tho since it seems like games just keep getting more expensive.
You should choose your thumbnails more carefully because it absolutely looks like you’re calling BG3 bad which obviously it isn’t.
hey thanks for the feedback i changed the thumbnail, sorry for the confusion!
They're all style no substance. Just like Disney movies.
Most of the games you put in the thumbnail are excellent games. Especially BG3
Hi! im not denying that i chose the thumbnail since it had a bunch of recent AAA Games on it, my criticism isnt aimed toward baldurs gate 3 its toward the 3rd person action games. Im not saying that these games are terrible, this video is more about the development process and the industry being very lacking in innovation im by no means shitting on any of these games! sorry if it came off that way i hope you liked the video!
BG3 in the thumbnail?
Nah BG3 doesnt have these issues i just found a picture with recent ps5 games
Overall I enjoyed the video. Just 2 little complains: I did not enjoy the amaund motierre meme-thing. Jumpscared in my face and was way too long for a joke I don't understand - but this is just my opinion. The overall editing was good, I just think the space in between the first and the next ones was too big. Wasn't expect more edits to come tbh. The second thing is about the challenge itself. The title/challenge itself implies to me, you cannot use anything but potions. If there was a boss which you HAVE to hit with a poisened bow/melee I'd not even complain. I was also fine with the little cheats, like tgm once. Really okay, if you take yourself and the challenge not too serious, but the monarch summoning really interrupted me. Overall I enjoyed watching/listening, I might check out the parts before and I hope there's more to come (hopefully without using summoning). So good job! Might have just found a little gem in today's algorithm
Haha thank you! Yeah i did fail the challenge but i just wanted to complete it anyway in total i probably failed like 3 times since skyrim forces you to hit people sometimes. and the amaund motierre joke was just some hillbilly in the mountains sorry that it jumpscared you! Ill take all of your feedback and try to improve the things you mentioner Edit: so the flame atronarch was only used if there were alot of enemies on my way to the victim or if a fight was forced since all i could do is run lol, thats the problem with the challenge once im spotted im useless. So it was more about me trying to assassinate the victims, i made it easier on myself lol still had around 10 hours of footage for it all at the end
Btw do you have a game youd like to see me play?
@@blue-guy333 I like you're just taking the feedback. Hope it helps you improving videos on your individual way. See you around, you got me hooked somehow
I like you're speaking slowly. I think because being afraid to lose money you take actions to earn more money - which in the end makes you earn less money. Creativity and competition gave us a healthy ecosystem working as long as these conditions are met. But now, since the focus is on getting money, you take actions to make your game and reputation worse so in the long run you lose money, because you focused on making money. The product gets worse and worse. As long as "the gamers" are buying such games, there's no reason in changing the attitude for studios, because they're making money
i always looked at yakuza as a poorly made beat em up like 2 years ago then i was suddenly like "HMMMM i need a new story game to play, lemme give yakuza a try" fast forward a year i finished every yakuza game and LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE WITH MY LIFE
i can relate man its like pringles once you pop you cant stop, which one did you like the most?
@@blue-guy333 story wise would be yakuza 3 or like a dragon, but gameplay wise would either be Yakuza 0 or Yakuza 5
Yo this video is a banger! I swear I love these types of smaller UA-camrs!
thank you!
@@blue-guy333 nah man thank you for this vid :)
I just love how complex the city of kamurocho seems like there are endless storylines. everyone has a story and rgg are masters at portraying multiple protagonists
@@vivek8563 i was really worried about ichiban before like a dragon came out and tbh now i almost like him more than kiryu
@@blue-guy333 infinite wealth really highlights Ichibans troupes and how he manages his relationships and goddamn it guts me to see kiryu admit that he could have done better
like a dragon gaiden with no upgrades would be fun to see. :)
could do that but the whole game would be a loooong video haha, isnt there an arena mode? i could try doing that without upgrades
Amazing video! I loved everything you had to say. As someone else has said your delivery needs a little more confidence and energy. By the way, I think Ghost of Tsushima is timeless. The game plays like a movie. The combat is so satisfying, it has a good balance of difficulty and flow. You’re not gonna get by from simply button mashing but you can also hold off large groups of enemies at a time. The world just feels completely alive. All the people, the enemies, the little things on the side like Haiku and Bamboo and Hot Springs. Masterpiece!
Definetly agree i just played the PC Port 2 Weeks ago and i gotta say that the game had me hooked from start to finish, btw im german and i havent been speaking english alot in the last few years so im a lil rusty but i will try to improve thanks for the feedback!
Try speaking a little clearer, louder & energetic!!
Great vid bro keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Agreed. The gameplay and story are incredible and the HD collection version is amazing.✨️✨️✨️
