I'm confused. What is the lie?

Well, this was the first time I ever ran a 5 axis machine, and the first time programming a 5 axis machine. I imagine it might not be optimum. The machine is great, and we would buy again.

@@VeryUsefulVideos Ok. I mean't no disrespect, i was rather curious if you found better settings since this was the first run. Playing with mastercam tolerance/smoothening settings and machine tolerance can make a big difference. Nice to hear the machine has been serving you guys good

@@Runkpapper The feedrates generally seem to keep up with the programmed feedrates. Another video I made a little later shows positioning that is faster. You can check this one out. It is however my first attempt at programming the 5 axis flowline path, so it probably needs tweaking. Why not adaptive milling to mill all sides instead of face mill

That would probably be more efficient. This was the first time I made a part on this machine and my first experience on any 5 axis machine. Thanks for your suggestions.

@@okumaimpact5805 No mechanical issues. I have had two occasions where I believe I had an air bubble trapped in the return pump from the coolant pant to the bandpass unit. It was resolved with a little manipulation of the hose. Don't know what caused it. Lubrication unit functions as it should. It uses grease for the guideways which lasts a long time compared to the vactra 2 used on other machines we have.

The machine? About $360,000
