aw11 4agzte 20v Dyno
First dyno with the twincharged MR2. Only inertia this time as I broke the induction brake last time (oops).
213KW at the rear wheels compared to 151 kw with only the supercharger. Note that 151KW inertia = 174KW braked @ this dyno, just to compare with my earlier videos.
Image in the end shows comparison between supercharged and twincharged before and after ignition tuning.
Only boosted 1.35 bars, so I must have a boost leak somewhere as I have boosted 1.55 bars at the track.

After loots of problems (a blown diff/gearbox and a burn up clutch) The car is finally working again, with c63/c160 combo and a tilton twin plate i'm very satisfied with the performance of this little 1.6 liter!

TWINCHARGE!!! Since running the big pulley caused to much belt wear I decided to add a turbo instead. Turbo is a "GT3582" chinacharger on a tubular log manifold. Engine is a 4age blacktop that is stock aside for forged rods. Using 850cc injectors and E85. Will dyno SOON.

Dyno of my aw11, fall 2017. Specs: Ported 4age blacktop, maxspeeding rods, rest is stock. Sc14 Supercharger, water to air intercooler, 850cc injectors, E85 1.1 bar boost. Result (this video): 233HP@7473RPM 271NM@50507RPM Result (best run, sadly not on video): 240HP@7566RPM 275NM@4192 Most powerful "4agze"???

First track test of my build, noticed that the stock shocks are bad, rolling like a boat at every corner. I had also used to cheap vacuum lines they came of in the heat :(. Engine ran great, if a little lean in the top end. Dyno run of my 4agze 20v build. Runing a very conservative ign basemap for safety, some mor hp could be gained by tuning. Also afrs went to 13.5 in the end so it needs little more fuel. Result: 219 Nm @4330 RPM, 137 KW @ 7154 RPM , all WHP Power only dropped at soft revlimit.

Testing my new build... Runing rich for safety with an earlier revcut. later I found a boost leak so second part is 8.3 psi Filmed with a potato, but its better than nothing, right?

Testing my supercharged 4age blacktop, no bypass valve so we have no boost. Very rich, 11:1, very relaxed timing (max adv 27 degrees) Still pretty god off boost response :) Also, no coolant :)

What pulley are you using?, i was going to buy a fensport one but herd of them damaging the engine overtime so contacted MRP to get a 170mm Ross harmonic dampened one but its £520 delivered to the UK from new zealand, what are your thoughts?
I have used both the stock pulley, a fensport 180mm, and a 157mm HKS pulley. The HKS pulley has a dampener. You are right that a solid pulley will damage the engine over time, but many run them with success, so your milage may vary. Right now I'm using the HKS pulley, boost was too high with the 180mm and an sc14... Belt slip all the time. Especially after I went twincharge. The Ross pulley is a very high-quality piece and that is reflected in the price. I bought my Tilton twinplate from MRP, very good service!

It's holding up good. a little blowby, but I'm running a large ring gap, so it's to be expected... I'm sot all worried about the rods, the next thing to break will be the transmission for sure :)
Which pistons did you use? The low comp stock ones work with the 20v header?

@@russellruby1293 actually it's a Previa supercharger, so a sc14 instead of a sc12. But, yes, stock engine at that stage, I have upgraded since then...

Why your car no alignment?
I love how this thing requires all kinds of driver input and attention, it must be so exciting throwing that thing down the track. It's one thing to have a RWD muscle car with drag suspension and letting it just rocket straight down the track but damn this is another level with the dynamics of a mid engine short wheelbase car. It would make a savage rally car that's for sure.

The crank pulley is bigger and thereby spinning the supercharger faster... Basic mechanics...

a rebuilt 4age can handle 200+ hp easily, and a 4agze up too 400hp. So yes

Correct, it is a sc14 with a 156mm pulley
