There is great beauty in living organisms and in the curiosity-driven quest to understand them. The mission of The Explorer’s Guide to Biology (XBio) is to create a free learning resource that emphasizes the wonders of life and the problem-solving nature of science.
Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium
Populations, even human ones, evolve and this means that the allele frequency of genes change over time. Scientists use the Hardy-Weinberg equation to test if a population or gene pool is in equilibrium, or if external forces are causing genetic variation in the population to change.

This whiteboard video gives a basic overview of the concept of Neurobiology including the basic structure of neurons, how they communicate with one another and how they come together to form the nervous system.
How to Design a Good Experiment
Переглядів 9 тис.Рік тому
Scientific progress is about pushing the barriers of what we know about how the world works. This happens by looking at data from experiments. Experiments are designed to test a hypothesis. However, new discoveries are only meaningful if we make sure we do a good experiment!

Great video
thanks
Good explanation.
Thank you ❤
amazing, great voice, great content, very straightforward. i was so confused when i read abt this experiment in bio books. thanks to ur vid now i got it <3
Really terrible video
Wow i an also left handed man nice to meet u and i understood very well best class
Really helpful and well explained👍
The music is putting me to sleep
Thank you very clear
Very good video, finally I got it!!!! thanks :)
How long can this process take? Would I see any results if I tried at home? I want to breed more temperature-resistant basil and spinach 🥲
Multiple years just keep doing it every year
best explanation on splicing ever! thank youuuu
thanks! summarized everything perfectly
Very easy to follow, thank you!
What a clever way to explain this, thanks for the video!
thanks for this. studying neuroscience for fun after hating chemistry and biology in school :D
Amazing!
Just what I was looking for. Thanks
it is not nature that came out with this , Allah soubhanaho wa taala is the one who created this
not everyone has 80% similarities to mice and there are several "race" groups that have fur instead of wooly hair.
you're completely missing the point that it's in the base pairs, the code in the genes. Besides expression of genes has a lot to do why we're not physically alike mice, or mice to us, and same goes for every organism.
Lamarckism to me, seems to make a lot of sense and is more probable than the other alternative even though it goes against the mainstream narrative.
Speaking too fast
U just work slow
You can slow down the video
you can slow down the video speed
Nice job, thanks
This was the simplest yet the best explanation ever 🙏🏼🙏🏼
why myelin sheath does not covered the entire neuron ? Why there is gap Between Two myelin sheath ?
is this not accurate?? Whats with the comment section ? ;/
Thank you sm for this video!! This helped me a lot <3
Hello I'm sorry to disturb you I wanted to use a sentence in my research paper The main method of the human brain is what it tells it what to do May I know your opinion, do you think it is special? Nazhin Khamanzadeh Farzangan
🎉
This is very well done
Grateful!
Ai voice ?
Very concise, thanks!
This was such a clear and insightful explanation. The animations were really helpful. Thank you!
W
big fan! thx for posting!
Thank you! Clearly and succinctly delivered!
Great video but the background music makes it hard to listen to.
Wow. This is the best explanation i ever got on Splicing, Exons and Introns. Just wonderful. Thank you!
Good 😊😊😊 I understand
This is awesome many thanks💯🤝🤝
What application do you use to simulate the electrophoresis results?
good
👍🏼👑💪🏾
Amazingggg
The music is so dramatic 😂
thank you so much for this helpful video...succinct and really elucidated some of my questions about supercoil packing of nuclesomes.
This is insane. There is a force that we cannot yet see or understand, an intelligence, that tells our body how and when and where to do this. So freaking cool. Really makes you think about things for a minute....okay, back to school
