JazakAllah khair, this is the first time I have come across a podcast where drastic impact of vat on muslim schools is discussed. The campaign should be ramped up. I have discussed with many muslim parents whose children going to Islamic school, even they are not aware of the fee hike and financial consequences. The campaign should be ramped up at all mosques and community centres. Right now, only a handful of people know about this topic.

Islamophobia is not rooted in racism, Islamophobia is rooted in the act of Islamist, which unfortunately, is very negative. Very little of what has said here is specific to islam or islamophobia. You could be discussing any kind of of hate rhetoric. To discuss Islam more specifically, there is a version of Islam that would be compatible with western culture and would do the muslim world a world of good. Sadly, this is a school that lost power already in the 13C. It had what looked like a temporary lapse of popularity when fundamentalism surged, but sadly this fundamentalist surge was made permanent by the fall of Baghdad to the Mongols in 1259. With the final fall of central power with the fall of the Abbasid Caliphate, the current dark age of Muslim fundamentalism started. This could be overcome. In Muslim tradition, the state can make one law school the official law school of a country, and I definitely think the EU and US should make this law school our official law school.
