Okay seriously what is with minecraft builders and using MUD BRICKS with regular bricks. They do not fit together in any real way, please keep them seperate I swear to god. I was just interested in the gradient, but please, for my sanity, just stop overusing the mud bricks. Good job on the video, though.

A good tip I'd say to people is you can have purely random texture & still have it be great, for example smooth quartz, quartz block & quartz's bricks are great for a painted brick look I do this often with the unpainted brick being a mix of brown mushroom block, packed mud & mud bricks. Gradients are great but not always needed. Also, if you do interiors, have 2 block thick walls' minium so you don't end up with moss blocks or gradient blocks within the inside wallpapers can be great or just like I said a painted look.

This video is art No joke this is the best tutorial I’ve seen on youtube ever, not just on texturing on minecraft but this is purely perfection! You explained basic concepts, moved on to subtle examples on how, where and what to do to apply these concepts, moved to an applicable example of these concepts that were explained, and finally advised viewers to actually not limit themselves creatively as this is a guide rather than a precise process I did not expect to watch a video this good ever, but it looks like you have earned a like, a subscriber and my full respect
