Dang... it took a good while to actually find the motivation to finish this one, lol. I started this review months ago but never got around to polishing it until last week. Not sure why exactly. Perhaps I got a bit burnt out due to college or other projects, or maybe it's because I wasn't as excited about this wave as I once was.
For a milestone as grand as 20, they sure didn't do much to celebrate it in my eyes. Series 19 would have made for a far better choice, as at least we got the bare minimum of 3 new types to show for it! Granted, we were lucky we even got 1 new Pokemon out of this, so that's cool, I guess. And at the very least, this is only the second time we have seen the other 5 Pokemon since the very early waves. So, in a sense, they were deserving of an update... I just wish it was at a different time/they would have swapped a few things with the builds.
All in all, this is an ok wave. I have my nitpicks, but I still ended up enjoying a few Pokemon from the wave after giving it some time.
*cough cough* Froakie, Chespin, and Igglybuff *cough cough*
The others... I think I need some more time for them. But they do have some meme potential, at the very least. 5/10.
