ah yes, the age old COD fully automatic sniper with no recoil. in contrast, magneto ult can force you to float in the air for 4 seconds or it does nothing, all while GUESSING if you have reached 700 damage being absorbed because if it absorbs 800 it fails. news flash, 800 damage passing through the ult happens in under 1 second half the time so you dont even have time to aim it even if you were some sort of autistic that magically could keep track of everything going on around you. worst ult in the game, and by a mile. if i could pull a loki and trade my magneto ult for the squir ult, i would do that 100% of the time. any ult, any ult in the game would be preferable over that pos do nothing 90% of the time ult.

I'mma start this with just saying you're entitled to your opinion on what game you prefer and im glad you can still enjoy overwatch. Competitive I see where you're coming from on comp but 1. genuinely if you are supposed to be above bronze three you go fast. it can be a bit hard with how bad some people throw since the ranks are kinda muddled until season 1 but im not even joking i was earning like 45-60 points on a win and losing like no more than 28 on a loss. It is (kinda) ready for competitive its just that its season 0 and the game just launched, ow1 comp was also this bad on launch its just how it is at first and it vastly improves each season for the first 2 seasons. As for no placements, this is just how many competitive systems work, having placement matches is far from the standard and im pretty sure ow is the only game ive played that does placements other than maybe one of the like 5 comp systems siege has had lmao. In this game the competitive system everyone starts at bronze three and you rank up on your own from there and each season you get put back like 2 ranks for the sake of having a reason to keep playing. also at high ranks there's decay. With steamrolls thats just kinda how hero shooters are especially at low ranks and especially on season 0 its understandable. Not to mention its a heavily team based hero shooter so solo queueing is just always gonna less consistent. all this to effectively say im not gonna try to say your take is invalid at all but also I do think its a little unfair to say that it sucks since the games been out like 10 days and being silver 2 puts you above 85% of the playerbase. The game being choppy This is definitely subjective cuz marvel rivals is one of the most visually appealing games I have ever played in my opinion. even with the optimization issues. Also yeah them looking like action figures or comics is probably part of the appeal. anyway for my overall opinion, like what you like but as a super early ow1 player who cared a lot about the lore and stuff and significantly prefers 6v6 and open queue its almost unfair to both games for me to even compare them from my perspective. for my specific tastes marvel rivals takes it and its like an underground boxing match between mike tyson and an emaciated child
