Steve Priest was very much the joker of the band. He loved to 'ham it up' in front of the camera. He had such character & presence about him, which made him so unmissable, adored & admired. It's just a huge shame, neither him or Sweet, ever really got the recognition they deserved in the UK.

Very good tribute to Steve. While I of course love Bowie, Slade and T-Rex, Sweet will always be my favourite of the Glam Rock Era and its a shame that 3 out of 4 of the original members are gone now 😢 but the music will live on. Also yes Steve was very gorgeous ❤

Steve was such a cutie. I like the fun he liked to have on stage. He was my favorite! Would have loved to meet him.

Love how captivating he was in all the videos. He had a way of capturing the audience through his eye contact and interaction with the rest of his band mates. Loved him and his music. I miss them all. RIP.

I love this video from the sweet. It's a new video. I remember this great glam rock song. It gave sweet a new direction for year's ahead untill 1979. I love previous hits too.

LOVE HIM! LOVE THEM! LOVE those pogo sticks! in the EARLY 70's reruns when I was a kid i wanted a pogo stick because the Monkees had them and a unicycle and my mother said no because they were dangerous! And she LOVED the Monkees and would watch with me!

Bowie gets all the mainstream queer attention. But really, we all know where swish camp lives 😇.

If I wasn't interested in The Beatles and instead was interested in the Monkees, I would say my favorite Monkee is Micheal Nesmith. With or without the wool hat makes him look cute and his singing is great. Edit: Plus he did help out Davy and Peter in the episodes; Pilot episode/10th episode and Peter Tork vs. Lucifer *(You know who I mean)* . The only two things I didn't like from Micheal Nesmith was in the pilot/tenth episode of the show was he threw a dart at a Beatles picture and kind of took the "Wanting to prove to everyone he is actually playing his own music" a little too far.
