This ad currently comes up regularly on free to air TV. The situation presented is about an unexpected bite by a family dog has been cherry picked and has no background information. Like may dogs, it may have been mistreated (the implication is that it wasn't). Maybe it had a brain tumour. The list could go on. Over 500 bites in one year is a concern. However, I feel statistically confident that my dog is far less likely to attack me than the general human population. But who'd create an ad about that potential danger?
Yes I agree, I just saw this add for the first time. And I thought how vague it was. And I can't even find the whole story or the background of the dog 🤦♀️ Not good enough at all

Nobody within animal control should be able to change info of a pet with a chip. Only the microchip company should be able to do this only after failure to reach original chip registered owner. To much authority is given to these so called animal welfare workers who pretend to contact owners when in fact they don’t. Or take the word of a self surrender that the owner is not wanting that animal, then shelter staff change the information. This should not be OK. should not be allowed…
certain breeds of dogs should not be domesticated they were bred for either fighting or there is something in the breed mutilates peole or owners I do not believe they just snap it is in the breed sorry if this offends my Cousin's Granddaughter was just a small child when a working dog mutilated her she has had several operations yet sill bears the scars of this dog.
Any dog can snap. Why show a specific breed?
