I need some advice! My Vermeer 5420 rebel baler 2012 model, The main roller bearing that all the chains connect too, keeps going out. 2 or 3 times a year. What would be causing this? I’m so tired of baling 300 to 400 bales and then having to replace that bearing. Also my belts started slipping at the end of last hay season. Had the local tractor shop replace all my belts two 1 1/2 seasons ago. Do I need to shorten my belts or can I adjust something to make that stop. And could the belts slipping be causing my bearing to go out faster?

Don’t need hay conditioner by a three-point diss more lazy out flat drives better for the expense of a crimper. This is cheaper bail hay for years and years and years do not need net wrap. Put twine close together bales will last over 3 to 4 years with any hardly any any mold or ruining, I made the first rapper that went along the side and put wrap on my hand

Put a come along on the arm and pull it up, so loosen the bell up so you can work with them

We had the same problem with the rebel, doing the same thing!! Vermeer tried for two years to get it right. Finally, Vermeer bought our bailer back from us and we purchased the Rancher. No problems for three years now, knock on wood!! Wouldn't not trade any of my Vermeer products. Built good and they stand behind their product!

You're sliding something along the surface of a truck bed and then tipping it over. 300 lbs takes less force to move using your method.
