I used both to re proof my paramo jacket, used two caps of both one after the other on a handwash setting worked a treat

do you turn rinse off when you're doing the wash in? or the rinse stays on. im not sure if im supposed to have water rinsing when its time for the tx direct wash in so just to clear it up when washing with the tech wash have water running on (rinse on) when using direct wash in water not running(rinse off)? or keep rinse on

Hi Sarah, great video! Just a quick question; do you really need to use two caps (2 x 50ml) full per wash? It does seem overkill to me, as it's 1/3 of a 300ml bottle per use! I have used Grangers in the past, which has been 1 cap full (1 x 25ml) for 1 garment.

one lid = 30 ml

hi there, seen your video a few times over just now and I’m a little confused on the washer settings as your washer has different modes than ours, would it be ok just to set it at Daily Wash For Clean at 40o 800 Spin and change it to 30o 800 Spin for the Waterproofing , on the label of the jacket there’s nothing. Thanks

Hi Sarah, thanks for the great video! Have you tried RX Direct Wash-In for softshell clothing as well? I know there's another product specifically for softshell but I have one hardshell and one softshell jackets in total and buying two separate products is a little pricey 🙄

I do this walk most days, just watched your tutorial on the nikwax by the way, great tutorial, thank you. I would recommend the next time you do this walk that you take a left at the junction at 18:57. You keep walking down the country road for a couple of kilometres and then you can cut back onto the Bollin. Anyways, nice coincidence you've done this walk too :)
