Piper Boats Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer of inland waterways craft situated nr Biddulph, Staffordshire. We are building Dutch barges and river cruisers for the Thames and European market.
We are a small-mid size business employing about 30 people responsible for the design, manufacture and commissioning of the Dutch barges. We are a British manufacturer who take pride in our product being completely built by us on site. We have a steel workshop featuring plasma cutting facilities and full fabrication facilities. Our interior fitout workshop has full CNC capabilities, bench joinery machinery and painting facilities. Our internal 3D CAD design team are responsible for completing all the cut profiles for the plasma and CNC machines.
We produce approximately 10-12 boats a year and every boat is different, a bespoke build for each customer. This makes our work varied and exciting - there is always something new going on!

60M stands for "60 Motor" not 60 metres.
