I remember when Christ rode for Skull Skates back in the Hammerhead design era. First full size them a mid and a mini! He skated my ramp on North Shore, Oahu Hawaii way back when! Later while living in California I worked for Skull Skates as their National sales rep(hanging on a phone 8hrs a day). I was there the Friday he and his Dad came in loaded up the their mini van to do a "promo tour". Mid afternoon a call came to the office, Hosoi had jumped from Skull to Santa Cruz giving Skull a big FU2! Such as it was often in the world of Skate!!!! Great Board design though. Instantly recognized!!!! And Hosoi was at the Pinnacle of his talent!!!

My favorite deck from the 80's! I had a Jeff Kendall with OJ 2's (who would have know the significance of OJ back then right!) My buddy had this Vision MJ deck and I loved it but didn't have enough money to get a new one! LOL. ( Imagine that and I think these boards all decked out only cost like $100? and that was with Independents, good wheels etc) God it was great back then and prove having money don't mean shit. I could buy 1,000's fo these boards now and I would go back to 1980's in one second! I am 47yrs old and just bought my 10yr old son the Vision Gonzales board. I hope he takes to skating like I did ???????

I'm about to be 46 and I just might get one! They only had the Flower Child around when I got my first pro deck which I regret not getting but I was drawn in by a hot pink McGill which I did regret getting 😂

This was my first pro board but in black. I had Tracker trucks with copers, black rails, Crossbones 97A wheels 2 pink 2 blue, NMB bearings, and pink grip tape...1987

Wow 👳 I've still got one of these with a set of Indy 169's ground to shreds and a "cell block riser" . Hosoi rails and some old oj2's . It was the nicest of all 80's decks and he came UK with Jesse Martinez to do a demo . Sick board , sick demo . . Skate an 8.25 hockey deck these days . I'm 53 but stil loving it 🇮🇳
